and Congress Centre (KKL), which is centrally located in the
heart of Stuttgart.

With a wide range of uses, both the modern and the listed architecture will help you achieve this objective. You will also be
impressed by the legendary acoustics. Every hall holds its own
special charm for visitors.
The KKL contains 5 large halls and 20 conference/meetings
rooms. It has a stylish atmosphere and provides an attractive
setting for all kinds of events. Several events can be held simultaneously thanks to generous space options.

Congresses featuring workshops and an accompanying exhibition
for up to 6,000 participants can be held here, for example, without
any major alterations. The foyers can be used in a flexible manner
as an elegant exhibition area or for receptions offering exquisite
buffets. Together with the elegant flights of steps, the foyers form
a setting for social gatherings as an informal communication area.
The mobile counters can be used as information stands, cloakrooms or bars.
Our facilities also include a fully equipped computer classroom,
for example for seminars or as an office.

Hegel Hall

This masterpiece of architectural history was
designed by the architects Rolf Gutbrod and Adolf
Abel. The Liederhalle has welcomed visitors and
artists from all over the world since 1956. At the
beginning of the 1990s, the architect Wolfgang
Henning transformed this expressionist building into
the Liederhalle Cultural and Congress Centre. A
separate congress section was added and the entire
complex was modernised.
High-class materials and a large number of integrated works of art combine to form an expressive
and, thus, special atmosphere in the KKL. The KKL
was built during an era when building costs were
not solely determined by the need to save money,
but when ideas were jointly developed and experienced and were reflected in broad consensus. Event
organisers and visitors can still benefit from this
generousness today.

Our highly modern technical equipment is continually upgraded
in every hall. It is reflected in booths for simultaneous interpreting, large-screen projectors, audio and video production facilities,
satellite transmission equipment, video columns, broadband
Internet connections for computers/notebooks, WLAN, UMTS and
other modern equipment and transmission methods. A separate
press conference room with a media pool facilitates up-to-date
public relations activities during an event.

We’re at home here.
Our Liederhalle Cultural and Congress Centre is located in
Stuttgart right in the middle of the strongest economic region in
Germany. More than 3 million people live here in the direct catchment area. The Stuttgart economic region is the leading centre for
innovations in Germany* and one of the largest export regions in
Europe. These successes are the result of clever ideas and hard
work. The Baden-Württemberg economic region is well-known for
both aspects, but also for wonderful celebrations with culinary
highlights. It’s no coincidence that Baden-Württemberg has the
highest number of gourmet restaurants in Germany.
You’ll also feel at home here.
We have an enormous location advantage called the “city”. We are
situated in the heart of charming Stuttgart, one of the most popular cities in Germany (2nd place according to the McKinsey survey
“Perspektive Deutschland”).
We are not very far from one
of the most famous opera houses in Germany (winner of the

But you will also find pleasant spots such as cosy bars, exciting
and trendy bistros, and high-class restaurants in the immediate
vicinity of the KKL. Cinemas, a disco, (bio)supermarkets and other
shops are close by. Anyone who is simply tired after a strenuous
day at a congress can walk directly from the KKL next door to the
Hotel Maritim, the largest hotel in Stuttgart, without getting wet.
Your guests can take things easy and relax during a stroll in the
nearby Hoppenlau Park. A large multi-storey car park is directly
connected underground to the KKL and there is a public transport
stop right outside.
Anyone looking for entertainment or wanting to try their luck
should definitely visit the Stuttgart Casino or a current musical.
That’s because Stuttgart is internationally renowned as a city for
musicals.
