Samsung Widgets
The Mesmerize includes useful Samsung Widgets for bring information to you. You can choose what information
and how frequently it is updated.
Adding Samsung Widgets to a homepage
1. Move to the home screen you want
to add a Samsung Widget. Touch
Menu > Add > Samsung Widgets.
2. On this screen we see a list of Samsung
Widgets that can we added to a Home
Screen. Touch the desired widget.
3. Swiping your finger up the screen shows
the remaining Samsung Widgets.
AccuWeather Clock Widget
1. Touch the clock to
see details about the
weather and check
weather in other
selected cities.
2. Touching the arrows
allows moving to other
selected cities. Touch
Menu to see options.
3. Touch the My City List.
4. This is the list of cities
you have selected.
Touch Menu > Add to
add a new city.
5. Touch the text box
and enter the city you
want to added then
touch the search spy
glass.

6. Touch the city from the
list that you want to
add.
7. Select Yes or No for
Daylight savings time.
8. The list of cities is updated.
To change the order the
cities are displayed in
Touch Change Order.
9. Touch the city that
you desire to move
and drag it to the
location in the list you
want it.
10. From the city list
touch Set default.
Choose a new default
by touching the
desired city.
11. From the city list touch Settings to select Units for temperature to be in Fahrenheit or Celsius and to select the
Refresh frequency for the Weather information.
Buddies Now
1. You can have quick access to
2. Touch the contact you
selected contact through the
want to add.
Buddies Now application. Buddies
now is like a electronic rolodex.
Use your finger to spin the rolodex
to the contact you want to call or
message. Touch the Plus symbol to
add a contact to Buddies Now.
3. The contact is now in
the rolodex. Touch the
update in the upper
right corner of the
Widget to get updates.
4. See messages posted
social networks and
comment back by
touching Comment.
5. Enter your comment
and touch OK to
upload.
Calendar Clock
1. The Calendar Clock pulls your
personal and business schedules
together in to one easy to use
widget. Touch the center of the
clock to change between you AM
and PM schedules.
2. Tap the highlighted area
of the clock to see details
about the item.
3. Appointment details.
4. From the main widget
screen touch the Plus
symbol to add a new
appointment.
Daily Briefing
1. The Daily Briefing
Widget keeps you
up to date. You
can see at a glance
the Weather, your
selected stocks,
AP news and
your calendar
information. Touch
the gear in the
lower right corner
to change the
current view.
2. Check the items
you want to see
in your Daily
Briefing by
touching the
check mark.
Touch the item
to set up each of
the items.
3. AccuWeather
settings: Touch
each of the
setting to select
your desired city,
refresh frequency,
auto scroll, and
temperature unit.
4. Y’Finance
settings: Touch
each of the
setting to select
your desired
Stocks, refresh
frequency, and
auto scroll.
5. AP Mobile
news: Touch
each of the
setting to select
the refresh
frequency, and
auto scroll.
6. From the Main
Widget touch an
item to see more
details.
Days
1. The Days Widget lets you link a
daily diary with your schedule and
memo information. Touching each
section lets you add details.
2. Touching the diary section
lets you edit, create new,
delete, or publish the diary to
a social site.
3. Creating a new diary entry by touching
create. Touch the date to set the date
for the entry. Tap proper areas to add a
photo or create a memo.
Dual Clock
1. Touch the current clock to
change location or add to
show a second location.
2. Select a location from the
list. Search for a location by
entering the city in the text
box. Touch the desired city.
3. Select day light savings time
option.
4. Widget displays the two
locations that are selected.
Feeds and Updates
1. The Feeds and Updates
Widget lets you keep
up with all of your
social networking
friends. Touch the
gear in the lower right
corner to set it up.
2. Set the frequency you
want the widget to
update. Touch the service
on/off to select the social
site you want linked.
3. Touch each of the sites
you want to get feeds
and updates from.
You will need to sign
in to the site if you are
not already.
4. Set the frequency to
update.
5. Manually refresh by
touching the refresh
icon in the upper right
corner.
3. Downloaded
applications can
be uninstalled if no
longer needed to free
up storage space.

storage space can be

Program Monitor
1. The Program Monitor
show how many
applications are open
on your Mesmerize and
give you easy access to
close programs.
2. Programs can be closed
by touching End.
Y’Finance Clock
1. The Y’ Finance Clock
shows your selected
stock information on
a Clock. Touch Select
Stock.
2. Enter the stock you want
to search for.
3. Select from the list.
4. The select Stock is
displayed. By touching
the stock name bar then
Menu you can add more
stocks. By touching the
clock you can see details
about the stock.
