at Nanstein Castle Landstuhl www.heimatfreunde-landstuhl.de Castle Event 7 May – 10 May 2015 In association with the "Heimatfreunde" club, the Landstuhl rifle club and the fanfare corps "Sickinger Herolde" the Sickingen City of Landstuhl cordially invites you to the legendary "Sickingen Commemoration and Castle Event" from 7 May - 10 May 2015 Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. In commemoration of Franz von Sickingen - "the Last Knight" who died at Nanstein Castle 492 years ago, the clubs host an event. The program includes stagings of the castle cannonade and the death of Franz von Sickingen. The camps, taverns and booths of the medieval clubs are open. Friday, May 8 Starting at 11 a.m. Medieval activities and a varied program including music, children´s entertainment and medieval food and drinks. Arts and crafts, wonderful booths and medieval camps invite to stay and explore.. At 10 p.m. big fireworks display and fire show by the group FORNAX Sunday, May 10 10:30 a.m. church service in the castle yard Performance of the fanfare corps "Sickinger Herolde" on the th occasion of their 80 anniversary The market and craftsmen booths are open until 6 p.m. Opening of the market at 4 p.m. Doors of the castle open at 6 p.m. for the medieval concert. Music performances are being presented by CULTUS FEROX and VINDSKLANG. A fire show is being held by the group FORNAX. Limited tickets!
