What to See
The little Mermaid
At Langelinje Pier, you will find one of Copenhagen's most famous tourist attractions
- the sculpture of The Little Mermaid. She turned 100-years-old on 23 August 2013.

It is not a supermarket – it is a Super Market. At Torvehallerne in Copenhagen, you

Tivoli
The Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen is a must for all visitors to the
city, young and old. Tivoli is located just a few minutes walk from City Hall and, with

The Royal Danish Opera House
The Copenhagen Opera House is a donation from the A.P. Møller and Chastine
McKinney Møller Foundation to the Danish people. It totals 41,000 square metres.

Five of the fourteen stories are subterranean. The main stage of the opera seats an
audience of 1,400.

Amalienborg Palace
Amalienborg is considered one of the greatest works of Danish Rococo architecture

Glyptoteket
Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is an art museum founded in 1888 by the brewer Carl
Jacobsen (1842-1914). The museum contains two main departments of ancient and

The Round Tower

SMK - The National Gallery of Denmark
SMK (Statens Museum for Kunst) is Denmark’s largest art museum, featuring

Ruinerne under Christiansborg
When the present Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen was constructed, the
National Museum took care to excavate and protect the ruins of the palace's oldest
predecessors, Bishop Absalon's Castle of 1167 and Copenhagen Castle that
replaced it.
