GENERAL INFORMATION
Greetings from the Director
Cancellations
Fall is always a very busy time for UDP&R. Our daily programs have a little something for everyone and our regular
seasonal special events are typically enjoyed by a diverse
grouping of residents. We hope you’ll try a new program or
event including Quickball, Trunk or Treat, a brewery tour or
the Upper Dublin Mini Masters. We also have a fun, parkwide program called Elf in the Park in December.
At UDP&R, we are always trying to improve our parks, trails
and program offerings. Approximately 25% of Upper Dublin
households will be randomly mailed a survey asking about
your household’s use of and satisfaction with UDP&R’s facilities and programs. We will also ask where your household
thinks the department’s focus should be in the future. An
online option, for those that do not receive the paper version,
will also be available at www.upperdublinrec.net. Please
take the time to complete the survey because your feedback
is essential for short and long-term purposes.

The mission of everybody’s theater company is
to entertain, educate and enrich through the arts.

fall “Adopt a Tree” Day for Upper Dublin residents in front
of the Upper Dublin Township Building. The container
trees will range in height from 3 to 5 feet. 50+ trees comprising native species will be given free, first come, first
served, to Upper Dublin residents who would like to adopt
a tree. The resident must come to UDTB, pick out a tree,
transport it to the planting site at their residence, and plant
the tree. To enable the Shade Tree Commission to
continue this program, a $5 donation per tree would be
greatly appreciated.
Questions? Please contact

MONDAUG BARK PARK
Located in Mondauk Manor
1130 Camphill Road
Fort Washington, PA 19034
BARK PARK SAFETY TIPS

UDT ordinance requires that dogs must be on leash
when not inside the fenced area at MonDaug Bark Park.

Keep all gates closed.

Only one dog/person should use the entranceway at a
time.

Clean up after your dog and properly dispose of trash in
receptacles provided around the park.

Control your child’s play. Children are NOT permitted to
chase the dogs, get involved in dog play, climb the
fence/trees, play tag, etc.

Puppies and dogs using this park must be properly licensed, inoculated and healthy.

Handlers must remain with dogs within fenced areas.

Do not feed dogs. Leave treats/toys at home.

If at any point you feel your dog’s safety is at risk, the
safest thing to do is leave the park.

Park is open for general use. Special classes, events
and/or private business activities require a Township
permit. Call (215) 643-1600 x3443.
For a complete listing of rules go to
www.upperdublinrec.net
Visitors to the dog park may find that their dog's paws
will need to be wiped down after exercise. This will be
especially true following rainy days. It is advised that
you bring towels to the park on each visit.
Bark Park Volunteers
Join the MonDaug Bark Park volunteers, a dog-friendly
group in support of the Bark Park, located in Mondauk
Manor on Camphill Road in Fort Washington. Call UDP&R
for more information at (215) 643-1600 x3443.
Bark Park Memorial Bricks
You are invited to be part of the MonDaug Bark Park Rainbow Bridge, which is located at the Bark Park on Camphill
Road in Fort Washington. The Friends of MonDaug Bark
Park are happy to continue its “Buy A Brick Campaign.”
This campaign is designed to help raise money to pay for the
ongoing "extras”, such as dog clean-up bag refills, landscaping, benches, etc. When you buy a brick in the memory of
your beloved pet, it represents a permanent memorial at the
park; be it canine or feline, the bricks will always be there.
Each brick will have a small paw print in the upper left hand
corner and inscriptions decided by the purchaser. Additionally, all donors to our brick campaign will receive a personalized "baby brick". These small bricks make an excellent memento. The bricks that have been purchased are placed at
the memorial brick garden, which is located beneath the
bulletin board at the dog park. Contact UDP&R for order
forms or questions.
