Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but we’ve only had one snow
day this year, haven’t we? Who doesn’t love a snow day? Students love them, teachers love them, we all love them! Sadly, our
good buddy the snow day hasn’t paid us enough visits this year!
We’ve been incredibly lucky the last few years. We’ve had
several snow days as well as cold days #ThanksJackFrost! Last
year, we were even off for a few days after the Super Bowl because of how heavily we got rocked with snow! It was awesome!
It snowed so much on Super Bowl Sunday that it took Mr. Haddad
45 minutes to get home from a Super Bowl party that was two
blocks away from his house!
Bottom line: we need to make another snow day happen!
I’m not a superstitious person at all, but for a snow day, I’m willing to try anything! Check out some of the most popular snow
day superstitions:
-Put your PJs on inside out and backwards
-Throw ice cubes out the window
-Yell "Snow Day!" into the freezer
-Put a penny under your pillow
-Put a white crayon on every windowsill in your house
-Run around your dining room 12 times
-Put a spoon under your bed
-Drink root beer the night before with a straw
-Wear a colored sock on your left foot but not on your right
-Do a snow dance! Gather up your friends for a stronger force!
Give them a try, and maybe, just maybe, together we can
catch another elusive snow day!
Chances are that these superstitions don’t truly work and
you’ll probably just end up being thought of as a raving lunatic by
your family members, but just in case, if you hear a winter storm
is brewing, it can’t hurt to give them a shot! If we end up with a
snow day, we’ll all appreciate your efforts very much. Snow day!

Blacks Ops III
DLC 1 - Awakening

The new Call Of Duty: Black Ops III DLC (called “Awakening”) feature four new multiplayer maps and one new zombies map to continue the trilogy of Dempsey, Richtofen, Nikolai, and Takeo.
Gauntlet - This map is featuring a three
lane design with each lane consisting of a
different environment, which transports
you through a wet jungle, sub-zero arctic
zone, and an urban alleyway, all in one
map.
Splash - This map takes you through a vibrant abandoned water park consisting of
water slides, lazy rivers, a pirate ship, and a
pool for under-water combat.
Rise - This construction zone is a map with
under-water combat, inside and out warfare, and second story firefights. This map
is open and has plenty of wall-run spots for
fast and long-range battles.
Skyjacked - This Remake of “Hijacked”
from Call of Duty: Black Ops II, is re-imagined for the new movement system of
Black Ops III. This floating police carrier holds the same over and under-ground
combat as the original map for Black Ops II.
Der Eisendrache - Follow Dempsey, Richtofen, Nikolai, and Takeo into “The Iron
Dragon” as the characters face off against zombies to stop the earth from being destroyed by themselves.

Marceline

Marceline is a vampire but she doesn't drink blood.
She’s also known as Marceline the vampire queen.
She is from the T.V show ‘’Adventure Time.’’ She
lives in the land of Ooo with her best friend Princess
Bubblegum. Marceline goes on many adventures
with her friends Finn and Jake. In the past, she used
to hunt vampires to save humans from getting their
blood taken out of them. But, while she was out saving humans she got bitten and turned into a vampire. In the new mini series called
‘’Stakes’’ she does not want to be a vampire any more so she tells PB [princess bubblegum]. PB puts Marceline in a machine that makes her human again. But, something goes wrong, if you want to find out, go watch it for yourself on Cartoon Network.
I would give it 5 out of 5 stars.
2016 Michigan Football Uniforms

With the new Michigan Football season coming September 3rd, 2016. The Wolverines will roll out
with some new uniforms. The new uniforms will feature the iconic “Michael Jordan” logo on the front
and will include new colors and helmets.
The new Blue and Maize colors will be very similar to the older uniforms but will have a darker tint
to them and will feature the “M” on the shoulder.
The new helmets will be amazing. With the helmets sticking to the
original Winged Helmet design and same Blue and Maize colors, but now
it will have a matte finish blue and glossy maize.
The next season with the Michigan Wolverines will be fantastic.
With the new uniforms, we will (hopefully) be awesome. Remember, Go

All About Pewdiepie

The man who gave YouTube its name, Felix
Kjellberg, or as you know him, “PewDiePie”.
PewDiePie was born on October 24th, 1989, in
Gothenburg, Sweden. He currently resides in
Brighton, United Kingdom. He is best known for his
“Brofist” that he does at the end of all episodes.
PewDiePie started out as any other youtuber
would, at the very bottom and beginning of his
YouTube career. He also started out as a standoffish youtuber who didn’t use much commentary in his videos. Later in his
YouTube career, he hit a whopping 1 million subscribers.
He has made a lot of very popular games. Half of PewDiePie’s videos
are horror game series. Specifically horror games on Oculus Rift.
PewDiePie has taken Oculus to the next level of gaming; playing just
about every horror game for the device. Some of the many horror games
he has played are, “Amnesia, Layers of Fear, The Last of Us, Until Dawn,
and Silent Hill #1”.
His YouTube channel also consists
of comedy games. Two of those are
“Deadpool” and “Surgeon Simulator”. He
currently has 41 MILLION Subscribers, a
YouTube world record for a single channel. PewDiePie has worked very hard to
get where he is. He posts at least 1 video every day. Could you imagine how
much work and effort that must be? It
certainly has paid off though.
His girlfriend’s name is Marzia Bisognin, or especially known as
“CutiePie”. Some of his friends are “Jacksepticeye, Cinnamon Toast Ken,
Kwebbelkop & Jelly”.
PewDiePie continues to play a variety of games everyday while maintaining to gain almost 3,000 subscribers a day.If you would like to check

Movies Then and now: Willy Wonka/ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Do any of you remember the movie, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”? Well, recently (not really), the remake “Charlie and the chocolate factory” came out around 2005/2006. My job is to compare them in:
THE FACTORY DUEL

First, the pros of the movies
Willy Wonka

Had more details from the book like the “Fizzy lifting Drink”, which the remake didn’t have.
The end was the one in the book where he said yes instead of “Why of course not” which was not even in the book
 Effects were man made only some Computer graphics

Charlie
Had non-repeating songs
And now, time for the cons:

Too much CG, making it look unreal (Literally)
 The ending (Completely different from the original)
 The entrance to the factory (Again, different)
 Lots of cut out scenes that were in the original




Really, There was not much wrong with the classi
Ok, now for part two, a quick review of the two movies
Willy Wonka
In the beginning of the classic, there were different things then in
the new, but the original follows the book. So, kids start running out of
school to the candy store, and the candy man starts singing. When the
song ends, you see Charlie, the main protagonist, is shown outside the
store, sad that he can’t afford anything.
Skipping ahead, Charlie wins a golden ticket, and he goes to the factory.
Then a lot of weird things, like the never-ending hallway, start
happening. Then, in each room they go to, one by one, the other kids
start getting in all sorts of trouble. One kid falls into a river of chocolate,
another falls into a garbage shoot, and the effects are really man made,
except one part. In the end, Charlie is the last kid and wins the prize.
Charlie
So, the movie skipped ahead, Charlie finds twenty dollars in a gutter and buys a Wonka candy bar with a
chance to win a golden ticket. and of course he does. People try to buy the ticket from him, and he refuses to,
and runs home to tell them the good news. A day later, he goes to the factory, and they have a really weird intro
and the characters on the stage sets on fire. The same things happen to the kids that happened in the other movie except there is more editing involved. Charlie ends up being the last person left, and he asks if his family could
come, and Willy Wonka says of course not. The end is sweet because he ends up finding his dad in the middle of
nowhere.
Well, I give the remake 5/10 stars and the original 8/10 stars. There were flaws in the remake that made
into the final product, and the original had less mistakes and was a little bit more enjoyable than the remake.

SKATE 3

Hey guys and girls that like skateboards and customizing their own
boards and skaters. You might want to read this article if you’re one of
those kind of people that like seeing boards flip, and spin in mid air. Also if
you didn’t read the other two articles I wrote you should try to find them.
Sure, they’re about different games but trust me it’s better to explore other
games then to stick to one.
In this game you can do any
skateboarding trick in the book. Also
some parts of all of the maps are
“glitch fests.” But still all of the
DLC’s are cool and crazy. One of
the DLCs are at a castle in midnight
and in the background you will see
a huge moon over the castle, and
also this DLC is free.
there is a mode called free skate and when you are in free skate you can
do cheats like zombies or hover board which takes off your skateboard
trucks. Also in free skate you can make mini skate parks around the maps
you are free skating at. There are also little mini parks around the maps already there for you. It’s pretty cool to find them even if they aren't that cool
that is what free skate is for.
If you are stuck on a mission, try it at least twenty times before you give
up. Trust me because I have beat this game’s story mode five times so try
this method.
If you think there is more to the story then buy Skate, Skate 2, and
Skate 3 if you like skate games that much. But I wouldn’t do it because
each game costs about $40 so if you were going to do that you would
spend $120. Hey, but if you want to, go right ahead, be my guest, no one
is stopping you, but that’s a lot of money.

Stout Girls Swim Team

Stout girls swim team is a phenomenal group of girl swimmers. They all have their
specialties. Read on to find who they are and more.
According to Ms.Peltz, Batoul Saad has an amazing backstroke, and Niveen Hamadi
is great at the butterfly.
Ms. Peltz looks for determination and endurance in her swimmers. The swim
team has 2 wins, 1 loss.
Some advice from the team is to not slack off, and work hard everyday.
Ava Evenhouse says that she has ‘’made a lot of new friends on the team’’. Some
advice from Batoul Saad is, to keep going and do flip turns. The team has versed Lowery Polar Bears, Bryant Eagles, and Woodworth Hornets. They have won two games
and lost 1; the one they lost was against Bryant. Also, Ms. Peltz told us that her most
improved swimmer is Rena Arabi.
A couple of facts about Ms. Peltz is, she has been coaching for 13 years, and has
started swimming at the age of 2. Some secrets to the team's success is to work hard
everyday and do the best you can do. Some things coach Peltz is looking for in her
swimmers is commitment, determination, and endurance. In conclusion, the stout girls
swim team is an amazing group of swimmers. We encourage more people to start coming to more meets and show your support. Let’s go Falcons!!!
Gummy Candy

To make gummy candy you will need gummy molds, flavored Jell-O, unflavored jello, bowl, water,
spoon.
1) First mix your flavored Jell-O, unflavored Jell-O and water in a bowl until
no liquid is left.
2) Melt until liquid.
3) Get a spoon and scrape the bubbles of the top for transparent gummies.
4) Pour into molds carefully, do not fill up the molds to much.
5) Set in fridge for 10 minutes.
There you have it, have fun making and eating you gummy candy.

Why are most video game movies bad?

Movies based on video games are typically considered to be some of
the worst rated movies ever, but why? Let's go back and see why.
One example is the really bad Super Mario Bros. movie. On Rotten
Tomatoes it gets: 15% and was made for 42 million dollars, even one
of the main cast said one of the most memorable part is the humiliation. I think one of the reasons why this movie is bad is because it
was trying to be something it's not and FAILED. It tried to change
Italian plumbers in a fantasy mushroom land to a sci-fi dinosaur fighter from Brooklyn. It has almost nothing to do with the series, not to
mention the awful effects, but that's for another time.
Now let's look at another, shall we.
Tomb Raider the movie scored 19% on rotten tomatoes. Yes, Angelina
Jolie is a perfect actress to play Lara Croft, but she couldn't save this
movie. It doesn't have any plot at all it just goes from place to place with
almost no reason and no rhyme and a lot of slowmo, seriously.
I personally think those are my problems, but words from a famous
YouTube said “It's better when it's your adventure. It's funnier than seeing a rolled out version of choices you didn't make. Those choices and
the magic of playing a game and when you're watching it, it's not as fun
as playing the game. And the fun and imagination you felt playing the
game.”
Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is a singer and a actor. To me Selena Gomez is the best
pop star ever and she gives me the courage to do lots of things especially
after hearing her music and watching her movies. For example, “ Wizard
of Waverly Place,” is one of my favorite movies. Plus there are different
movies that Selena Gomez is in and I love them and it's hard for me to
pick which one I like more. Selena Gomez’s best friend use to be Demi
Lovato but now Demi Lovato has a new best friend and so does Selena.
Selena Gomez’s best friend now is Taylor Swift. Selena sang the song
“Same Old Love,” for anyone that lost someone they love.

Supergirl

By day she is Kara Danvers, assistant to Kat Grant, the
queen of media. By night she is Supergirl, flying around
National City saving lives. Kara works with the DEO
(Department of Extranormal Operations) with her adopted
sister Alex. Kara was sent to earth to watch over her
cousin Clark Kent (aka Superman). Her pod to earth got
knocked off course and by time she got to earth, Clark
already became Superman.
Kara kept her powers hidden until one day she
was forced to use her powers to save a crashing plane.
Now Supergirl is a worldwide phenomenon. Kara also has
some friends like Wayne and Jimmy. They help Kara at
work and with her powers. Kara isn’t loved by everyone, there are still people that don’t like her and
are afraid.
Kara’s Kryptonian name is Kara Zor El. She has
spent all her life on earth, but she still sticks to her
Kryptonian roots. Kara is as great as her cousin
maybe even better. Kara has a hard life working for
Kat Grant. The Queen of Media has high demand
and her assistant has to meet those demands. Kara is, in fact Supergirl, so she can handle it. You
can see Kara juggle it all on the show, Supergirl,
Monday nights at 8:00 on CBS.
Detroit Tigers Offseason Acquisitions

As we all know, our very own Detroit Tigers have lots of talent. But, it
seemed that last year they didn’t want to use it. Well, I predict this year will
be an amazing year. First off, let’s talk about a pretty unexpected free agent
signing. In the offseason, the Tigers signed OF Justin Upton to a whopping
6 year, 132.75 million dollar contract. That’s an estimated 22.25 million a
year. Upton will definitely bring some power and skill to the team.
They have also made some trades as well. Here are some of those trades; the Tigers traded
two LHP for CF Cameron Maybin from the Atlanta Braves. They also traded
two RHP for one LHP with the Yankees. The latest trade that they have made
was with the Los Angeles Angels. They traded 3B Jefry Marte for 2B Kody
Eaves.
All of these trades, in my opinion, sound like they could really help the
ball club win their first World Series since 1984. Hopefully I’m correct about
this, because it’s finally time for the Tigers to shine bright.

Spells From Harry Potter

If you are wondering about the various spells that are cast in Harry Potter, you have stumbled upon
the right article. In this article, you will be taught when you would learn these spells if you went to
Hogwarts, and what would happen to the victim of your spell.
- Expelliarmus: The most basic spell in the book that you would
learn in your first year at Hogwarts. this spell is used to send your
opponent flying backwards and knocking their wand out of their
hand.
- Wingardium Leviosa: This spell is slightly more challenging than
Expelliarmus, it would be taught to you at the end of your first year,
and used throughout your second year. This spell is used to levitate
things. Make sure you clearly pronounce the O in Leviosa.
- Obliviate:This spell is used to erase one’s memory. You point your wand at the person you wish to
give amnesia, and yell Obliviate! Your “lab rat” will instantly forget who they are and where they are.
-Expecto Patronum: This spell is very complex. It is used to make dementors leave the area they
are at. You must think of a really happy thought and scream Expecto Patronum.
THE 3 MOST UNFORGIVABLE CURSES
Now, I must tell you that these curses are the most dangerous and dark spells you will ever hear about in your
life. Using one of these spells can be punishable by death.
Unfortunately, the Ministry of Magic does not let me tell
you how to cast any of these spells because of their levels
of danger.

-Avada Kedavra: This spell does simply one thing, it kills whoever it
strikes.
-Crucio: This spell puts whoever it is cast upon through excruciating pain until the curse is lifted.
-Imperio: This spell lets you control anyone that you cast it upon. You can move them around and
make them say things.

Top 5 iTunes Songs

Let’s take a look at the top 5 iTunes
songs. I’d imagine you being quite surprised
because I’m not going to lie, I sure
am. Considering I have no idea what the first
one is. But, let’s begin.
To begin with, the first song is called
“Summer Sixteen,” by Drake. I don’t know that
song but it’s probably pretty good to be top ranked. You should definitely
try it out.
Next, “Pillow Talk,” by Zayn Malik. It is such an amazing song, it
should’ve been first. He has left One Direction and still became successful. I’m very happy for him and still absolutely love his songs.
After that, “My House,” by Flo Rida. That song is literally my life. It’s
so fun and groovy. Every time it comes on the radio, I jam out and have
fun.
Guess what’s next? That’s right, it’s “Work,” by Rihanna. I don’t like
this song or how Rihanna sings at all. So, moving on.
This is a famous musical.ly song called “Stressed Out,” by 21 Pilots. I’ll tell you what musical.ly is in my next article. 21 Pilots is life.

Melanie Martinez {AKA} Cry Baby

Melanie Martinez is a singer, she went on The Voice to start her career, the
judges loved her except one who wasn't a fan known as Christina Aguilera. Melanie got pretty far in the competition before Christiana got her voted off. She
moved on and made her own music like her songs: Tag You’re It, Alphabet Boy,
and much more.
She says she is a character named Cry Baby, and her
songs are related to her life, for example Alphabet Boy
and Carousel is about her ex, Vinnie, who thinks he’s better and smarter
than her, and he brags about his degree. Cry Baby proves she is just as
smart as him, if not smarter. She already made an album called Cry Baby.
Which is on sale so you could get it on Itunes. Also Melanie is going to
have an upcoming worldwide tour!!! The closest one to Michigan is Chicago, Illinois, and if you do go I’ll see you there!!

Shadowhunters

Shadowhunters is a tv
show adaptation from the book
series The Mortal Instruments.
The Mortal Instruments is about a
sixteen year old girl named Clary
Fray (Fairchild) who find out she’s
a part of an ancient race of demon hunters called Shadowhunters. She meets Jace Wayland and he helps her even
though he doesn’t want to but later starts to slowly fall in love with her even though his
father taught him that “to love is to destroy.”
That’s why Jace tries to cover up his emotions with sarcasm and sass but after
Jace’s father dies, when he was ten and goes to live with the Lightwoods (Alec, Isabelle, Max, Maryse, and Robert). Alec and Jace become Parabatai, which mean they
are basically brothers, but Alec falls in love with Jace, that why he dislikes Clary so
much.
In the show Jace is sort of a Edward Cullen, from The Twilight movie, he was so dramatic and I don’t know why he felt that he need to hold her hand in a two feet walk. Isabelle was a lot nicer and didn’t have that sarcasm like Jace did in the books but Cassandra (author of the series) said that Isabelle doesn’t know about her father's affair in
the show so she doesn’t hate all men and think they’re pigs. Magnus, The High Warlock
of Brooklyn, who in all his 800 years he has never ran from anyone or anything beside
his father and that was a long time ago but in the show Valentine threatens to come kill
every warlock but then Clary’s mother is awake and he just picks up and leaves? No.
Magnus throw another party and if you tried to kill him, bye your dead.

Why Arzaylea really gets hate

We (the 5sos fans that don’t like
Arzaylea,) don’t hate her because she
is dating Luke like some people are
thinking. We don’t like her because she
is, with evidence, a bad influence.
Many people try to compare her to
Bryana Holly (Ashton Irwins girlfriend)
but they are nothing alike. I’m not going
to act like I know everything about Arzaylea because I don’t know her personally, but she
shows off the fact that she is dating Luke, she
takes videos of Luke doing cute things such as
singing to her, her squishing his face, and just
doing cute couple things that everyone wishes
they could do with him and sends them to fans.
She also tweets about how the hate gives her
anxiety. You shouldn’t breakup with your, now ex
boyfriend (Bryan) that looks like he was crafted by the gods, to date
someone famous if you “have anxiety.”
One is for sure going to get hate, especially if you’re dating
someone famous. So why risk having anxiety attacks? Another
thing that bothers me and the fans that hate Arzaylea, is that the
people who do like her and or are forcing themselves to like her are
saying that she “saved their life” and “she inspires them.” I don’t
know about anyone else but the only thing she inspires me to do is
go clubbing and partying every night. Don’t believe me, find her on
snapchat, she takes videos literally every day, if not then she tweets
about it, or she’s caught by paparazzi.

ALL ABOUT MR. HOOL

Besides his obsession with superheroes, Mr. Hool is actually very interesting. FYI, if you’ve been wondering whether
Mr. Hool likes Superman or Batman better, he prefers Batman, but just by a little bit.
You all know the crazy superhero-loving fanatic, but do
you know who Mr. Hool is outside of school? For example, his
hobbies are reading, drawing, and collecting different things.
To be specific; he collects comic books and superhero statues/action figures. Moving forward, I asked Mr. Hool, ‘’If you Mr. Hool chilling with his homeboy, Buzz Lightyear.
got the chance to play the role of a superhero who would
you pick,’’ and he picked Wolverine. He likes Wolverine’s hair and claws. To add on, the most embarrassing thing he has done in his life is when he had to walk through Levagood Park with only underwear on when he was 5 or 6. Additionally, if there was one thing Mr. Hool would change about
himself, it would be that he would like to be muscular like the Hulk (#GoodLuck).
Mr. Hool has very funny kids named Cal and Lily. The funniest thing Cal has ever done is poop in the
bathtub while taking a bath. The funniest thing Lily has ever done is when Lily and Mr. Hool were
playing hide and seek. Lily kept calling, “Daddy! Daddy!” but he
thought that she wasn’t really trying to find him, so he ignored it.
After she kept calling he answered her and she says, “I pooped my
pants.”
Furthermore, Mr. Hool loves the staff that he works with at
Stout. What he loves about Mrs. Ditmar is the extent that she goes
to help students become successful. To add, what Mr. Hool truly
likes about Mr. Haddad is how
good looking he feels when standing next to him (LOL!).
For a guy who has sport team flags
and posters all over his classroom,
Elmo + Mr. Hool = BFFs!
you might be wondering what his favorite
NBA and NFL teams are. His favorite NBA team is the Detroit Pistons and his favorite NFL team is the Detroit Lions.
Finally, Mr. Hool has a very specific favorite ice cream flavor.
Mr. Hool loves the cake batter ice cream with Snickers mixed in
from Coldstone. Also, a food he would never get sick of eating is
beef nachos with liquid cheese. Not to mention, his favorite candy
is Chewy Sweetarts and his favorite candy bar is Snickers.
Now you know about Mr. Hool, {thanks to me obviously} now you

Musical.ly has been very famous since the
school year has begun. Musical.ly is making lip-sync
videos for fun. The best thing about Musical.ly is the
music, the types of video types, and the filters.
First, Stressed Out is a really famous song, Along
with, Low Key Flex, Lean And Dabb, RapGod2, and
more. You should try out those songs. They are really cool.
Next, the video types are quite interesting. First, epic is really
slow. Then, there’s slo-mo. You know what that is. And of course normal. The most popular one is fast. Finally, there’s lapse.
Last, the filters are the best part. There are a whole bunch of different colors and shades you could use. There is also reverse, time pause, etc.
I hope you get this app because it’s really fun to do on your free time.
Most Popular Games

There are very many popular games on the app stores these days. That’s why I’m going to discuss a
few that I think are the best which are Subway Surf, Candy Crush, and Colorify.
Subway Surf is awesome because it changes from time to time, it’s fun,
and you get cool prizes at the end. To begin with, every month or so the theme
changes and it gives it a new and cool look. Next, it’s fun to play when you’re
bored. Finally, when you complete a certain task, you get a prize such as
100,000 coins.
Candy Crush is addicting, cool, and everlasting. It is addicting because
once you crack the codes, you don’t stop until you win. It is cool because it’s so
colorful and has fruit candy in it. The everlasting part is the levels are nonstop
so you can play as long as your heart desires.
Colorify is relaxing, artistic, and soothing. Relaxation would not be relaxation without
being able to color for free at any point in time you want. Next, if you aren’t artistic,
no problem, all you do is simply tap and it fills in the lines. Soothing is also a word
people use to describe colorify. It is very soothing as a matter of fact.
Now, I hope you download at least one of these apps. They are amazing and really
cool. These are available on the apple store and the android app store too. Good

Do You Like Scary Stories?

I love scary stories. Do you? My personal favorite is called “Why did I take the night
shift?” This short short story was written by Haneen Ghafoor.
“Long ago, when I was still engaged, my fiancé was messing around in my stuff. I
yelled at her for it, until I looked into her red eyes and she sang me her favorite song, “Let
me be myself, set me free tonight, I will count to three and you will let me be, One pause two
pause -” I left. That song always creeped me out. I never really loved her, I only was in
love with her money. So one day she caught
me cheating on her and told me she was going to make me pay for what I have done. I
got really annoyed of her whining so I shot
her right in between her eyes. Her eyes
opened up and all I could see was her red
eyes fade away It did not really matter to me
because she could not do anything .The police then sent her corpse to my hospital for investigation. They left her in a morgue and
never took her out, which was kind of odd to me. So I asked why and never got a good
enough answer.
I was in my office at the hospital when my boss came in. I stood up.
“Hey Ross, I need you to work the night shift tonight.” He handed me an envelope.
I opened it and saw 100 thousand dollars in it. “It's your yearly payment.”
“Thanks,” I said as he walked out the door as silent as a mouse. I slumped down
into my chair, and continued my paperwork.
I heard everyone leave one by one until I was all alone. Once I finished my paperwork, I grabbed my jacket and headed for the door when I saw the doorknob rattle. I
gasped. I didn't want to know who was behind the door but I opened it anyway…….to be

Opinion One Direction Getting Girlfriends
(Harry Styles Edition)

All I have to say is Liam, stay home with your dogs! Many people forget
that One Direction are just normal human beings and can also
have love lives. Many girls who used to like Taylor Swift don’t
like her anymore just because she dated Harry Styles. (in
fangirl accent) “Oh my god she’s not good for him, I think
she’s just using him,” and such. Well guess what? No one
cares what you think, that is called jealousy. I’ll be honest and
say that I didn't like Taylor swift and Harry Styles (Haylor) together, but I
never liked her since day one so that’s different. But even then, I didn't
send her death threats like some fans are doing. You shouldn’t be acting
like a swifter and then all the sudden make a hate page just because you’re
jealous.
Harry has had many other girlfriends and all of them got
hate because fans feel like the girls are a bad influence
when they don’t even know them personally. I don’t mean
to bash my own fandom and be rude, but all I’m saying is
that fans need to calm down with the death threats and not hate every time
their idol gets a girl/guy friend and at least try to like the person before automatically hating them.

How to make Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn’t love a good chocolate chip cookie? Even better, cookies with Nutella in them!
Today I’m going to tell you how to make Nutella chocolate chip cookies. Let’s get started.
Ingredients







First, you will need 2 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
½ a cup of butter
⅔ a cup of sugar
½ a cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs, l tsp of vanilla
1 cup of chocolate chips and of course ½ cup of Nutella.
Instructions
First, you preheat the oven to 350
degrees. After that beat the butter
and sugar till it is light and fluffy
then add the eggs and vanilla and
mix until it is well combined.
Moving on, put the baking soda
and flour into a bowl and mix it up.
After you are done mixing slowly,
add the wet ingredients along with
the chocolate chips.
After that, scoop up a large spoonful of dough and flatten it in your hands. Make sure your
hands are very clean before you even start baking. While you are flattening the dough take
some Nutella and add it into the middle of the dough. Then fold the dough back up so it seals
the Nutella entirely.
Finally, put the cookies into the oven and bake them for 10-14 minutes or until the edges or
nice and brown. After they are done baking let them cool down for a couple of minutes and
then you can enjoy your delicious Nutella chocolate chip cookies.

Stout Track is Back!
With the arrival of spring, comes the 2016 Stout Track season!
The first day of tryouts will take place on MONDAY, APRIL 11th!
If you plan to tryout, please read and follow the following requirements:
1. Students must have a minimum of 2.0 on their marking period 4 report card and
maintain that GPA (or above) throughout the season. If a 2.0 is not reached or is lost,
the athlete will be dismissed from the team.
2. Students must have a sport physical completed
before they can partici-
pate (before the first practice on 4/11). If you’ve already played football, basketball,
swimming, or volleyball for Stout, you already have a physical on file. If you haven’t
played a sport yet, get a physical ASAP!
--Rules and Consequences:
Follow the Golden Rule: Don’t do anything that will embarrass yourself, your team,
your school, or your coaches. Consequences of missing game time or dismissal from
the team will be considered for any offenders.
Examples:
1. You may be removed from the team (decision of
coaches) for any of the following:
2. If you are misbehaving or disrespectful during the
school day.
3. If your grades do not meet the required levels.
4. If you don’t show sportsmanship.
5. If you are disrespectful to the referee or coach.
6. If you “showboat,” like dancing or gloating
7. If you miss practice(s).
8. If you are not a supportive teammate.
Practice will be 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. Student athletes are required to attend ALL
practices. If for whatever reason a student athlete needs to miss practice, a note must be provided.
For example, doctors note or a note signed by a parent. Unexcused absences can result in dismissal
from the team.

The Ships

If you are apart of any type of fandom you would know exactly what a ship is. And if you don’t know what a ship is…. well
there’s something called google and you can figure it out because
it’s too hard for me to explain. There’s also an OTP.
An OTP is a ‘One True Pairing” And it pertains to a couple that you think truly
should be together (like Larry Stylinson.)
There are ships in almost every fandom, and if
there aren’t any in a fandom…. well that’s just sad.
The most famous fandom that is mostly known for their
ships is the One Direction fandom. Yes okay you guys are probably all mentally groaning but shush and keep on reading. For
starters, the ships are:
Larry, Lilo, Narry, Ziam, Ziall, Lirrry,
Niam, Zarry, and Nouis. And those
are just the ships between the
boys. The other ships are;
Haylor, Hara, Payzer, Sophiam,
Hendall, Elounor, Louinelle, and
more but they aren’t that important
because Larry is the best. And,
if you want some clarification
about who are the two people
in these ships are… well, once
again there’s something called
google and you can figure it out.
There are ships in many other fandoms but those fandoms
aren’t as important as the One Direction fandom (well…. except the Harry Potter fandom because)
There are also many other ships that aren’t only in the fandoms. One of the most popular non-fandom related ships is
Cake. Kendall Jenner, and Cara Delevingne.
There are also youtuber ships. Troyler, Phan, Tronner, Shoey, Twaimz and a llamaa,
and many more.
