ProSlide Support Services represent the most effective
way to reduce operating costs and maximize uptime, owing
to increased protection through planned maintenance and
detailed inspections.

On-going maintenance enhances your water park’s visual
appeal and protects your products for years to come. Detailed
inspections examine the performance and reliability of your
attraction, to determine if it is operating as designed.

SkyBOX : The Ultimate Challenge
TM
The SkyBOXTM drop launch system is one of ProSlide’s most
exciting product innovations. Standing on a trap door in a
transparent pod high above the water park, thrill riders feel
the adrenaline rush as the floor suddenly drops out and they
freefall into the narrow tunnel below.
At the same time, the SkyBOX drop launch system is a
complex attraction that includes a number of pneumatic,
mechanical and electrical components. ProSlide has issued
recommendations ― in the form of a Preventive Maintenance
Schedule ― that should be incorporated into the overall ride’s
maintenance program. In addition, water parks can choose to
purchase a SkyBOX Annual Service.

A ProSlide SkyBOX Annual Service:
• streamlines overall operations and maintenance
costs,
• examines the performance and reliability of the
attraction,
• minimizes system failures and reduces down-time,
• provides detailed records, and
• determines if proper maintenance practices are in
place.
Elements of the SkyBOX Annual Service
TM
The ProSlide SkyBOX Annual Service includes:
• a comprehensive visual inspection of various elements,
including:
◦◦ structural (e.g., steel columns, radial arms,
anchoring/fasteners, alignment, galvanizing/paint
finish and welds)
◦◦ fiberglass (e.g., material stress, leak occurrence,
joint alignment, fiberglass interference, chips,
scratches and cracks, discolouration and
oxidization)
◦◦ electrical (e.g., conduit entry, cable management,
safety/IP2X, wiring, grounding and shielding
terminations, segregation of voltages, PLC,
communication devices, power supplies, device
communication verification, proximity sensors,
hall-effect sensors, audibles, push buttons, screen
functions and software analysis)

valves, airlines, air filters and water separators, air

shutdown or one (1) annual SkyBOX start-up, to be
determined at the time of the contract’s signing

(additional parts, if needed, are not included)
the completion of a detailed Maintenance Report
(including photos), for your records, which might include
a list of all tests conducted, key findings, adjustments
made, repairs completed, additional corrective actions,
repairs, changes or replacements required, and other
recommendations.
Please note that all appointments must be scheduled at least
six weeks in advance. Overnight and expedited service is also
available upon request, to minimize ride down-time.
