The Collection Brochure
The Collection at RiverPark is a 650,000 square foot, open-air, specialty retail center located in the heart of West Ventura County. Inspired by the beauty of the California coast, The Collection reflects the unique atmosphere of the surrounding seaside communities. The Collection is not just a shopping center, but an experience—tree-lined streets, parks, water features, plazas and paseos work together to create a classic but casual environment. The center is built around a town grid of retail streets, each of which has its own personality—a carefully crafted assortment of established and contemporary designer shops, distinctive dining, and signature entertainment venues. Anchors include Target, Century RiverPark 16, the area’s only Whole Foods Market and REI—all open and experiencing strong sales. This unique tenant mix is designed to cater to the needs of the daily customer, as well as those who visit weekly, monthly and in the evenings. Why Aren’t You Here? The Collection’s mix of destination anchors and specialty shops, along with an unparalleled visitor experience, has captured the nearby communities of West Ventura County. But what really makes the center click is its influx of top-tier restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Simply put, The Collection is the place to be. Our opening day, June 19th, was the top third opening day in dollars for the entire Southern Pacific Region of stores! Our weekly sales have exceeded expectations by more than 150% and we expect to keep growing with the center as more and more businesses join us! The RiverPark community is very engaged and welcoming. It’s a happening place.” CINDY SCHOONMAKER Marketing & Community Outreach SETTEBELLO PIZZERIA NAPOLETANA “We are thrilled to report that we had higher sales on opening night at The Collection than any of our other restaurants produced for theirs! The following day, Saturday, recorded the highest sales day of any Settebello restaurant, ever! We are loving being here at The Collection. The traffic is great and we hit the ground running.” CHRIS WARTELLA Manager FIVE GUYS BURGERS & FRIES “Sales at our new restaurant at The Collection have been fantastic. Five Guys Burgers & Fries has over 1,200 stores, 30 of them in Southern California. The Oxnard location has had one of the best openings of any of our California stores and we couldn’t be happier about that. We look forward to new tenants coming on board to help continue the success at The Collection.” JOE RASIC Director of Operations, California CENTURY THEATRES “The Century RiverPark 16 has had an exceptional opening and we are more than pleased with the performance and figures to date. The theatres at The Collection are looking to become one of the most successful in the region.” TOM OWENS Senior Vice President, Real Estate KABUKI JAPANESE RESTAURANT “The Collection reminded us of Victoria Gardens, where we also have a thriving restaurant. We saw an opportunity to join a property that would soon become the dining, shopping and entertainment hub for locals in the region. Our location, just across from the theatres, has been doing extremely well...beyond projections.” DAVID LEE Founder & President A Widening Area of Influence The Collection sits in the master-planned community of RiverPark, but draws from affluent neighborhoods like Camarillo’s Spanish Hills, the Ventura Hills & Harbor, Mandalay, Hollywood, and Silver Strand beaches, and as far north as the Ojai Valley. The Collection is pedestrian-friendly yet drivable, built on a grid of streets that will be lined by shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. The center has become the hub of the RiverPark community—it is where people come to shop, eat, work and play. Displayed throughout the center is an extensive public art program that includes commissioned works from the LA Basin’s best local artists. A two-acre park houses outdoor concerts, fireworks displays and holiday lighting ceremonies. The Collection is a great example of today’s unique shopping environment.
