EVOLUTION OPEN & EVOLUTION STREET LEGAL EXHAUST SYSTEM
The Akrapovic EVOLUTION system for all three BMW G650X models replaces
the stock system and represents the highest available level of exhaust system
modification. We should also mention the change to the engine note and the visual enhancement, as the system not only looks great with the lines of the bike,
but makes it look more serious and race-oriented. The Akrapovic Evolution is designed for top riders who expect maximum performance from their exhaust system.
The Evolution street legal exhaust system for all three models (Xchallenge, Xmoto,
Xcountry) come equipped with noise dampers and are street legal!
PERFORMANCE
Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the BMW G650X (with noise
damper):
Power & Torque: the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system delivers its strongest punch in the middle
and top of the rpm range. The throttle response is increased and the bike accelerates more
steadily and smoothly than with the stock exhaust system. There is also a major change in
torque, which totally changes the bike’s character and brings out the racing heart of the sporty
BMWs. Max increased power is 1.9 HP at 3900 rpm, and max power is 47.3 HP.
CONFIGURATION
The Akrapovic EVOLUTION system is composed of conical titanium tubing. The link pipe and
header tube are connected using a sleeve joint secured with silicon-shielded springs. The muffler outer sleeve is made of titanium, as is the inlet cap, while the outlet cap is made of carbon
fiber. The muffler comes equipped with a noise damper, and for heat protection the system
includes three Akrapovic Carbon Parts carbon-fiber heat shields.
