The Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series exhaust system is designed for riders who
are looking for an excellent combination of simple installation, increased performance, aesthetic enhancement and affordability. The system officially conforms to all regulations for exhaust system noise level for street use.

PERFORMANCE
Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system on the HONDA CBR 1100 XX
(without muffler insert):
Power & Torque: although it is “only” a base level tuning component, the Akrapovic
Slip-On SP series system livens up the Honda engine significantly. The performance
increase begins at 3000 rpm and extends all the way to the top of the range. At 10000
rpm we measured a massive 139 HP.
CONFIGURATION
The Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series exhaust system is composed of two sets of cylindrical stainless steel link pipes and mufflers. The muffler and link pipe are attached
with a sleeve joint secured with silicon-shielded springs. The Akrapovic Slip-On system is also attached to the stock header assembly using a sleeve joint, but here it is
secured with a metal clamp. The muffler outer sleeve is available in either titanium
or carbon-fiber. The muffler is attached to the frame using an Akrapovic carbon-fiber
clamp. The system includes approved noise dampers installed in the mufflers and
conforms to legal regulations on exhaust system noise levels for street use.
