1. Select CLOCKWISE or ANTI-CLOCKWISE template to
suit door direction.
2. Place template on inside door face at required height from
floor with the fold line along the door edge.
3. Mark and drill holes as specified on template.

Separate template from installation instructions, select CLOCKWISE or
ANTI-CLOCKWISE side of template to suit door opening direction.
Fold template where indicated & position on door with tape at required height.
Mark hole positions for deadlatch, furniture and furniture latch, then remove
template prior to drilling.
Drill Ø22mm latch hole to depth of 85mm, ensuring hole is drilled squarely.
Drill 2 x Ø6.5mm & 1 x Ø22mm holes for furniture and 1 x Ø32mm and
4 x Ø3mm (depth 25mm) holes for the deadlatch.
Note: Drill Cylinder and Furniture holes from both sides of the door
to prevent splintering.

LEVER FURNITURE SCREWS
(M4 x 65mm)
(cut to correct length if required)
Slide Latch into hole and mark around latch face plate.
Chisel out face plate area to a recess of 2.5mm. Mark and drill 2 holes for
latch screws.
Insert latch with angled face of bolt towards strike and fasten with 2 x 20mm
screws provided.
Insert spindle into latch mechanism in door. Standard spindle suits
32mm - 45mm door thicknesses, for thicker doors a special order spindle
may be used.

Check the required handing of the lever furniture to the door, i.e. left or right hand.
The lever furniture should always rotate downwards and spring return up. To set the
handing of the furniture:- Inside lever: Remove stop screw, rotate lever and replace
screw to handing required. External lever: Remove screw and stop plate, rotate
lever to handing required, replace stop plate and screw.
Fasten the lever furniture and front door plate to the required side of the door
with the correct length Lever Furniture screws. To ensure Lever Furniture screws
are the correct length insert the screws through the lever furniture and the door.
The end of the screws must protrude only 5mm past the external side of the
door, if required cut screws to the correct length.

Insert cylinder, with name to top, into front door plate hole from OUTSIDE of door.
Fold and position CONNECTING BAR TEMPLATE as shown. Mark connecting
bar between the 2 lines. Remove cylinder assembly and CUT connecting bar
to length. Connecting bar must NOT protrude past HUB face or guarantee will be void.
Fix mounting plate to door with 4 x 28mm woodscrews provided.
Align Notch on HUB with 'V' on mounting plate.
Assemble cylinder assembly through door plate, ensure connecting bar engages
in hub slot.
Place 32mm cylinder retainer screw through slot in hub and secure cylinder
assembly to door.
Rotate HUB 90o by inserting key in cylinder, and secure second retainer
screw. Ensure both screws are tightened firmly.
Rotate turn knob fully clockwise to HOLD BACK position.
Remove the two case mounting screws from the lock case.
Take mounting plate out of lock case.

Rotate turn knob fully clockwise to HOLD BACK position.
Ensure notch on HUB is aligned with 'V' on mounting plate. With the key
removed from the external cylinder, fit case body to mounting plate as shown.
Secure to mounting plate using the two case mounting screws.

Position deadlatch strike on jamb directly opposite the lock case and mark
outline of strike flange on jamb edge.
Mortice area of flange. Depth of flange mortice determines gap.
NOTE: 3mm maximum gap between lock and installed strike.
Position door frame strengthener template in strike flange mortice as
shown. Drill 2 Ø5 x 63mm deep holes for the door frame strengthener screws.
WARNING: Care must be taken when drilling and fixing screws to
jamb. Screws must NOT come in contact with electrical wires in jamb.
Install door frame strengthener and secure using 2 x 65mm door frame
strengthener screws.
Locate deadlatch strike over door frame strengthener, mark and drill 3 x Ø3
holes and fix with 28mm strike mounting screws supplied.
Locate latch strike in position, mark and mortice strike if necessary and
secure with 2 x 20mm screws supplied with strike.
NOTE: Pre-drill Ø3mm x 25mm deep for woodscrews.
Position the cover plate escutcheon firmly over the furniture.
TEST BOTH DEADLATCH AND FURNITURE LEVER ASSEMBLY FOR
CORRECT FUNCTION.
