Stronger styles With drawer heights as small as 10cm and door fronts as tall as 200cm, you can make your kitchen look as traditional or as modern as you like. The new METOD kitchens Welcome to METOD - the new IKEA kitchen system. When we say new, we mean completely new. The frames, doors, the hinges, the drawers - everything! All designed to give you the freedom to create your dream kitchen, with the looks you love, the functions you need and the staying power to stand up to everyday life in your home. And all with that famous IKEA price tag. The biggest range change 10 years, the new METOD is a major change for a great improvement. METOD kitchens have a 25-year guarantee. Your Building Blocks The key to METOD is a revolutionary set of measurements - a breakthrough that led to a new range of sizes and a world of endless possibilities. Here are the building blocks. Put them together anyway you like. Wall cabinets come in heights from 40cm to 100cm. Building block logic METOD cabinets use simple, even 20 centimetre increments for width and height, a modularity that makes it easier to plan and customise your kitchen. Cabinets come in two colours: white and black-brown. No more white frames peeking out between your dark doors and fronts! Wall cabinets, base cabinets and counter tops can be combined to create solitaire storage units. You can even put them on our 28cm legs. Lower plinths Our standard plinth is lowered from 16cm to 8cm, opening up more storage space in base cabinets. New cabinet looks Cabinets in widths of 20, 40, 60 and 80cm. Base cabinets come in heights of 60cm and 80cm. TUTEMO coloured inserts not only add a splash of colour, they’re also great for cookbooks and showing things off. 08 IKEA FAMILY news Drawers come in heights of 10, 20 and 40cm. With improved, smooth finishes, METOD cabinets can also be used without cover panels. There are also cover caps to hide the pre-drilled holes. New base cabinet heights Cabinet are available in heights of 80cm - which create more space - and 60cm, which lower the worktop height or can be combined with our new 28cm legs. (Budgie not included.) Base and high cabinets come in depths of 37 and 60cm to squeeze the most storage out of the space available. IKEA FAMILY news 09 VARIERA box 9.90/each RM ABS plastic.
