The free football scrimmage will take place Saturday, April 16th inside of Beaver Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.. Admission and Parking to the scrimmage is FREE for all visitors and is a great chance for football fans to get a look at the new 2011 squad. This year's Blue-White Weekend will launch the celebration of 125 years of Penn State Football. Two recent additions to the Blue-White Weekend schedule will be held the day after the football game. The Second Beaver Stadium 5K Run/Family Fun Walk to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania will begin at 10 a.m. Last year's event raised more than $35,000. Please arrive approximately one half hour prior to the start time to register. Lunch will be provided to all golfers. Location: Groff’s Farm Golf Club, 650 Pinkerton Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552 Golf Cost: $85 per golfer. Your fee includes green fees, golf cart, beverages, lunch, and a dinner following the outing. The lunch is being provided by TBD, our honored guest speaker is provided courtesy of The Back Page Restaurant and the beverages during the outing are being provided courtesy of Frank C. Musso, CPA, MPA, P.C. Dinner will follow the outing, which will be provided courtesy of Dutch Valley Auto Works. Dinner Cost: If you would like to attend the dinner only, the cost is $30 per person. Prizes: Prizes will be awarded during the dinner to the teams in the order in which they finish based on their score. In addition, there will be prizes awarded to the golfer closest to the pin on two holes, and the golfer with the longest drive. Speaker: Again this year we are honored to have Penn State football Coach Tom Bradley, Asst. Coach, Defense/Cornerbacks. Tom Bradley is in his 32nd season on the staff and 11th supervising one of the nation's top defenses. During the 2009 season, Penn State was one of only three teams in the nation that finished in the top 15 of the six primary defensive statistical categories to continue the unit's tremendous success since the 2004 campaign.
