The Schedule
Always consider the schedule when
trading. Teams that play doubles on
the weekend count both weeks.
Wollongong and New Zealand have a
great early draw.

clubs, who has
transferred? Find

TOP 5 DREAM TEAM IMPORTS
5. Josh Childress (43DT)
4. Kendrick Perry (31DT)
3. Mickell Gladness (32DT)
2. Scottie Wilbekin (41DT)
1. Cedric Jackson (30DT)
Returning to the league after a season off
Cedric’s price of $131,100 is way to low to
ignore. NZ have 4 doubles from rounds 2-6
so he is an absolute lock in at one of your
starting guard spots.
Jamar Wilson
Wilson had a tough year coming off the bench with the Taipans
last year. He averaged only 27 DT points a game. With the change
of club and the increased game time, there is plenty of
improvement to come. Other imports to change clubs include Gary
Ervin who finds his way back in Wollongong where he won the
league MVP not long ago!

Stat Box “80”
Tim Coenraad has the honour of smashing
out the highest DT score of the preseason.
The 80 included 32 points, 8 rebounds, 6
assists and a steal. He’s had a big
preseason and may finally be living up to
the expectations of his breakout season.

VALUE – MY TOP 5
1. Josh Duinker
2. Brendon Teys
3. Tai Wesley
4. Clint Stiendl
5. Corey Webster
Josh has returned
to Australia after
playing ball in
Holland. He is a
great post player
with a better than
average 3 point
shot. His
preseason
suggests that he
is the number one
big man down at
the kings and
should score very
well. With his dual
position available
(fwd/cen) there is
no reason that you
can’t fit his
$49,100
somewhere in
your team.
Brendon Teys is
someone in
previous seasons
we’ve avoided.
His final series
last year showed
that he has what
it takes to be a
decent role
player and that
has been
brought over to
this preseason.
Joey Wright
trust what he
brings to the
floor and that’s
enough for me.
Avaliable as a
$49,100 guard
he will be in my
team round 1.
Wesley comes to
the Breakers
under the new
Oceania local
rule. He’s a Utah
State graduate
and since then
has been
applying his trade
over in Europe.
Throughout the
preseason he has
shown his worth
getting plenty of
minutes. With NZ
a few down early
in the season
Wesley is a must
given their early
double. Priced at
$52,000 forward,
get him in.
Clint has made a
move from Cairns
to Townsville in the
offseason. He also
represented to
boomers during
the trip to play
China. He’s a
much more
rounded player
than the one we
saw last season,
so I expect big
things. His
preseason minutes
suggest he’s highly
rated and will get
the court time to
produce some
good DT numbers.
The plus is he can
be picked as a
forward or a guard.
The NZ born
basketballer looks
like a bargain this
season. He’s
spent the off
season playing for
NZ in the world
cup which has
increased his
confidence. With
Corletto and CJ
no longer at the
club his time to
shine has come.
His scores will
always rely on his
shooting
percentage which
is always a risk,
but his scores will
certainly increase
this season.

INJURY UPDATES
+
Imports Josh Childress (abdominal strain) and
DeAndre Daniels (elbow) both had parts of
preseason interrupted by injury. Proceed with
caution around these two.
Mitch Norton (ankle)
Expected to be okay
for the start of the
season.
