Come prepared to grab some tickets from Ernest and then sell, sell, sell – or buy, buy, buy!! Note: The NORTEX Installation of Officers and Dance is hosted by 6 Clubs. The Kissin’ Kuzzins is one of the Host Clubs. Plan to attend this event. It will be held at Swingtime Center in Irving, so carpooling is a great way to go. Not only are we responsible to bring refreshments but we will also be greeting all who attend this event. So practice your best smile (you don’t need to practice too much, you all have great smiles). Rednecks have the lowest stress rate because they do not understand the seriousness of most medical terminology: Medical Term Redneck Definition I received these definitions in an e-mail. I thought they were so very cute, and not Artery The study of paintings Bacteria Back door to cafeteria Barium What doctors do when patients die meant to harm any redneck. Can you believe that it is June? Summer is here! That means vacations, hot weather, cookouts and extra time with grandchildren. Oh, I almost forgot: A great time to square dance. It’s a great time to jump in the car and dance with your club at the center and as we dance around the metroplex. In the last month, we have been to clubs that many of us had never visited before. We have two banners we’ve never had before. It was fun!! Many clubs are having casual dress, as are we through September. If casual dress is not for you, keep your square dance attire going all summer. Whatever way you wish to dress is acceptable. Just come and have fun. We encourage all that are able to go to the Installation Dance at Swingtime, June 5th. Shirley & John Currie are the chairmen of this event and The Kissin’ Kuzzins are one of the host clubs. That means we need people to come. Several have signed up to come and help, we could use more. We need to be there at 3:00. Please give this your consideration. We also have door prize tickets that we need to sell for Round Up. Kimberly Brow is winning the selling race. We will have tickets at our home dances, ready for the taking and selling. They sell for $1 and our club gets to keep half of that for our club. It’s an easy way to build the treasury of the club. Take some, if you don’t want to sell them, buy them all yourself! We also have lessons beginning the end of August! Be talking to all that you are in contact! You never know who might be interested in learning and joining a great group of people. We want our club to thrive and grow!! It takes dedication from us all to keep us on the growing track!!
