Diversified Production Services (DPS) offers a full spectrum of production
services for live entertainment special events. From concept to
realization, DPS manages the development and production of events of all
sizes including event management and logistics, staging, set design, tour
planning, vendor sourcing, budget, travel and talent coordination in the
categories of concerts, fundraisers, sports, multi-media and one-off unique
events.
Established by seven entertainment industry veterans and former
principals of the Live Nation Special Events division, DPS consists of
some of the top production staff and designers in the world who are
passionate about what they do.
The team has produced such historic events as the first ever concert in
the new Yankee stadium with Jay-Z and Eminem, the 25th Anniversary
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame concert, The Concert for New York City
following 9/11, Mandela Day and Live Earth, in addition to annual events
including Z100’s Jingle Ball, Robin Hood Foundation fundraisers, Big
Apple BBQ, Bamboozle, NFL’s Kickoff and Super Bowl events, to name a
few. DPS has been involved and produced events in over 35 countries
worldwide.

This was a concert to raise awareness & funds for The David
Lynch Foundation which teaches children around the world
to meditate via transcendental meditation. The evening

about their experiences with meditation. The culmination
of all of the musical perfromances was the duet between
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr...the first time they had
performed together in over 10 years. We were instrumental
in the run of show, building operations and production.

2009’s Mandela Day was the third annual celebration of
Nelson Mandela’s life. This concert was held on his 91st
birthday and had some of the best American and African
artists perform on one stage. The goal of the concert
was to promote the idea that each individual has the
ability to make an imprint on the world. We directed the
set design, all of the talent logistics, production elements
and worked with the 46664 Foundation to promote the
event worldwide and on the Internet.
Our group co-produced this historical concert which
has been turned into a PBS ‘Great Performances’
special. Over 120 artists performed a wide range of
Pete’s songs to a sold-out crowd. The show captured
Pete’s life, music and legacy along with raising money
for his organization, ‘Hudson River Sloop Clearwater’.

The Concert for New York City took place the month
after 9/11. It’s intention was to raise money for the Robin
Hood Relief Fund but it turned into a much needed loud,
rowdy, energy filled concert that provided a place for
relief workers to heal and sing along with their most
highly regarded celebrities and musicians.
The Concert for New York City was produced by
our group in a compressed time frame, had over 10
performances and 12 celebrity hosts on a turntable
stage, with a worldwide audience of over 1 million
people.
The evening raised
over $30 million.
The Live Earth stage design was constructed of
recycled rubber tires and low-energy LED lights. The
additional concert sites constructed their design with
recycled oil drums.
Live Earth at Giants Stadium was the conclusion of 9
concerts over 7 continents spanning 24 hours, each with
live and Internet viewing audiences. Giants Stadium
hosted over 17 of the world’s biggest performing acts as
well as top celebrities. The concert had a running time of
exactly 7 1/2 hours with our group at the helm of all event
production including: site coordination, production and all
artist & talent coordination.

The event featured moving
tributes by Mr. Ertegun’s closest friends
including Mick Jagger and Bette Midler
and was attended by Robert Plant, Jimmy
Page and John Paul Jones. The artists that
performed were all discovered and signed
to Atlantic by Mr. Ertegun. We Produced
this event from top to bottom followed
up by a once in a lifetime experience
featuring combined performances by many
musical legends who had come together to
celebrate the beauty of Ahmet Ertegun’s
influence on the music business. This took
place at The Boat House in Central Park.

responsible for production, stage design and
coordination of DVD filming as well as talent,
stage management and production/buidling
operations.

Every year the Michael J. Fox Foundation hosts a black-tie benefit
to raise money that assists with finding a cure for Parkinson’s
disease. The Foundation funds research and development of
improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today. We
have co-produced the event for over 8 years at a variety of venues
throughout NYC handling labor management, vendor contracts,
talent and production. Past performers have included The Who,
Stephen Colbert, John Mayer, Levon Helm, Ben Stiller, Kevin Klein,
Greg Allman Band, Elvis Costello, Dennis Leary and Steven Tyler.

Focus For Change is an annual benefit for WITNESS, an organization
that promotes human rights and social justice by using video & online
technologies. Founder Peter Gabriel co-hosts the evening that features
a live auction, a video program highlighting a WITNESS campaign to
end human rights abuse, dinner and a musical performance. Past cohosts have included Angelina Jolie, Gael Garcia Bernal and Maggie
Gyllenhaal while musical performers have included Emmylou Harris,
The Roots, Vampire Weekend and Cyndi Lauper. We have handled
production, design, talent flow, venue operations and run of show.

Paul Simon co-founded the Children’s Health Fund in 1987,
which is committed to providing health care to the nation’s most
medically underserved children. Their annual gala is held at various
venues in NYC where we have been assisting with all aspects of
event production for over 9 years. Willie Nelson, Paul Simon and

The Rolling Stones
We were hired to coordinate the Rolling Stones’
production and staging elements as well as facilitate
the venue & labor elements for ‘Shine A Light’, a
documentary film on the band. The two shows were
filmed by Martin Scorsese and had guest artists
Jack White, Buddy Guy and Christina Aguilera. The
Feature Film was released in the spring of 2008.

To promote their 2003 tour, The Rolling Stones staged a rock
& roll sized press conference in the Bronx. The band arrived in
the park and took a 10 minute ride in a yellow blimp emblazoned
with their iconic logo before speaking with the press from a
stage set up in the middle of park. During their ride, large
screens on stage showed live footage of the band in the blimp.

Group to produce the Big Apple Barbecue Block
Party. The Big Apple BBQ hosts over 40,000 people
per day during the 2 day festival. It brings together
15 nationally reknown pit masters cooking up the
best BBQ from around the country mixed with live
music and a beer garden in the heart of Manhattan!
Rolling Stones
Rio De JAnerio - 2006
In 2006 members of DPS were instrumental in the decision on where to put the Rolling
Stones massive stage set on the beach in Rio De Janeiro. This was the first and
largest concert ever on the beach in Rio. Through repeated trips to Rio along with
local promoters, the concert was a massive success pulling in over 2,000,000 fans from
around the world. DPS was involved with the three year, 32 country, 182 stadium show
“A Bigger Bang” tour with site coordination and stage management.
In 2007 Budva, Montenegro decided to play host to the Rolling Stones and proposed a
site for the event, an overgrown sort of wasteland on an otherwise amazing coastline.
DPS designed the layout for the construction that would have to undego several months
of heavy equipment work as well as a 40,000 square foot pad of concrete to be laid
to host the massive staging structure. Montenegro is currently a hot spot for touring
stadium sized shows.

time. The tour covered 25 cities over the course of
two months with Rob Zombie in support. The set
design was hosted on the first episode of the reality
series “The Ozzbournes”. DPS also designed and
created the Manic Santa Land which played host to
a decadent Santa and his helpers which was also
featured on “The Little People”.
AC/DC Live From Circus Krone 2002
Munich Germany
DPS aided in production of this once in a lifetime experience
which hosted AC/DC Live from the Circus Krone in Munich
Germany. The Circus Krone is a 2500 seat circular circus style
venue and for the first time in decades, AC/DC brought their
massive stage energy back in to the club style venue. The
show was shot as a DVD over two days.
Alicia Keys Uptown Saturday Night Tour 2004 & 2005
Various Arenas, TV Shows and DVD Shoots Across America
In 2004 and 2005 DPS designed Alicia Keys’ “Uptown
Saturday Night” tour and production the entire tour across
america and extending in to the European market. On the
tour Alicia performed many benefit shows, shot a DVD at
the Hollywood Bowl with 57 members of the Los Angeles
philharmonic orchestra, brought back MTV Unplugged and
50 arenas across america. The tour was designed to be an
old school approach to her current music, designed like a
club in the early 50s and 60s. The tour was a huge success.
