The library has undergone a transformation
with new shelving installed. A very big
thank you to Rob, Eril, Michelle, Rebecca,
Sonia, Eriela, Karlee and Victoria for your

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS
A reminder that next Wednesday 22 June
we will be holding our Parent Teacher
Interviews from 1:30 to 6:30pm. Parents will
need to book online for all conferences at
www.schoolinterviews.com.au
Our school event code is emqr6. Once you
have logged in just follow the easy steps to
choose times that suit you and your family.
For families who do not have internet
access feel free to see or call Elizabeth in
the office. We are asking for all bookings to
be made by 9:00am Monday 20 June
so we can organise interpreters. Reports will
be sent home early next week.
It’s that time of the year where
we commence our formal process of
enrolments
for
Prep
students
commencing school in 2017.
Students
will need to turn five years of age by the 30
April, 2017. If you have a child who will be
coming to school for the first time in 2017
please complete an enrolment form,
(available from the office), at your earliest
convenience. I would also appreciate it, if
parents would let other families in the
community know that we are currently
accepting enrolments for next year.
New parents
to
the
school
are
encouraged to make an appointment to
see myself for a tour of the school.

EARLY DISSMISAL
FRIDAY 24 JUNE
2:30PM
Eve Richards returns from family leave next
term in 1/2 P and Andrew Kearns will be on
leave all of term 3. 5/6K will be taken by
Lauren Peeler who is very familiar with the
students. Processes have been put in place
for a smooth transition for both grades.
Kylie Champion will also be on leave for
the first week and a half. We are currently
appointing a replacement.

Student Absence
To report your child’s absence please call the school on
8311 5700 and choose option 1 OR use the link on our
website and complete the absence form.
Notices Online
Did you know you can read and print out excursion permission
forms and notices from our website? The initial notice will be
given to students, and any further copies can be obtained from
the office or the website, under the “Recent Notices” section at
www.sunshineps.vic.edu.au
Payments
A reminder if you wish to pay for your
child’s/children’s incursion/excursion etc… costs,
you can pay cash, cheque, and now BPay.
If you have misplaced your reference number please
call the office to obtain your family reference number.

Congratulations to Jade in 5/6 O who won the
Design a Front Cover Competition for the Cook
Book. Also a big Congratulations to 1/2 M who
submitted the most recipes. For their efforts the
Fundraising Team will be providing a special
lunch treat for the class tomorrow.

SCHOOL CONCERT UPDATE
Well concert preparations are on the way with our
concert date being Thursday 1 September so be
sure to mark this date on your calendar!
Thank you to those parents who have attended our
meetings and joined the concert committee.
It’s not too late to join if you wish to do so our next
meeting will be held on Thursday 21 July in the Art
room at 1:40pm.
This year’s concert will have a movie theme in which
all grades will perform a class item. We will also be
seeking a small number of students to fill in some
other main roles. An audition sign-up sheet will be
available outside the music room during the last
week of term and we encourage any student
interested to audition. Please note that interested
students must be available for a one hour
afterschool rehearsal in the weeks leading up to
the concert. (This will be on either a Thursday or
Friday afternoon and will be decided, depending
upon the availability of the cast chosen). Auditions
will be held in the first and second week of Term 3.
