Club Happenings 27th Annual Change of Command Ceremony and Dinner An honored Epping Forest tradition! All members are invited on Friday, March 27 to induct the 2015 Board of Governors and welcome Dennis Guidi as the incoming Commodore. A 6 p.m. reception in the Formal Gardens featuring complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be followed by the official ceremony at 6:45 p.m. A gourmet, four-course dinner in the Mansion with wine service and live music will commence at 7:30 p.m. The evening is priced at $75 per person with service charge and tax additional. Trivia Night Trivia Night for Adults, a member favorite, is next scheduled for Tuesday, March 10. Members, arranged in teams of 2-6 persons, will vie for fame and club bragging rights. Prizes will be awarded for the top two teams. Epping’s very own Joe Perrone and Susan Lee will co-host the affair. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the first question asked at 7 p.m. Food and beverage service will be available. Happy Hour prices extended until 9 p.m. for trivia participants. This month, we’ll sample from: Domaine Carneros Brut, Napa; Simi Chardonnay, Napa St. Supery “Virtu” White Meritage, Napa; Franciscan Cabernet, Napa Nadia Cabernet, Napa A wine expert will educate all on the subtleties, vintage and appellation of each selection. The social starts at 5 p.m. and will feature a selection of complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and a member charge bar for beverages. All Epping Forest Club members are invited to attend this monthly event. After-School Spring Youth Sailing Registrations are currently being accepted for EFYCC’s After-School Spring Youth Sailing program which starts the week of March 24 and continues through the end of May. Youngsters (ages 8-18), will be introduced to the basics of sailing by a certified instructor. The emphasis will be on the fun, enjoyment and the self-confidence that results from learning to sail.
