Corina Fong ! Jean Dalgleish Proposal for Rarify Originals Part II - Design Technical Web Designer Program ! Managing Web Sites ! Fall 2014 creatr!x font: “Bree Serif” colour: Pantone 144 RGB (240, 146, 31) CMYK (2; 50; 94; 0) Black Grey - 70% Black RGB (106, 107, 107) rarify logo design Two Colour Logo: One Colour Logo: Black & Orange (Pantone 144) Black & 70% Black T he logo design process began with the Rarify design team. Their original sketches were transfered to Creatr!x for further design and implementation. It represents artistic and energetic authority; boldness which is used to target youth and a high-end audience. The orange suggests playfulness, creativity and energy. Being bright makes orange the favourite color for industries dealing with a young market. Black has a calming effect, but with an underlying sense of simplicity. The font — “Bree Serif” — is a young and energetic upright font that approaches readers with hip and elegant charm. The slab-serif makes for a strong impression. It offers fluid and attractive forms that convey a contemporary and lively aspect. It’s originality will remain timeless for years to come. Using all lowercase letters increases the word readability and proves the company is trend conscious. The t-shirt icon gives the logo it’s immediate context and makes the brand recognizable and memorable. The reversed “y” further establishes the logo with a punch of colour and flare. For branding, the elements of the bold slab-serif type would be carried through and the orange would be used for highlighted elements. Squared corners and a clean design would be evident. The grey (70% black) could be used for contrast. © Creatrix 2014 Creatr!x Design Proposal for Rarify Originals Rarify Logo Design / 14 creatr!x project wireframe home page © Creatrix 2014 Creatr!x Design Proposal for Rarify Originals Project Wireframe 1 of 2 / 15 creatr!x project wireframe store page © Creatrix 2014 Creatr!x Design Proposal for Rarify Originals Project Wireframe 2 of 2 / 16 C ONTAC T MENS creatr!x WOMENS ORDER TRAC KING OUR STORY ACC OUNT 1 BLOG hand printed + rare designs. find your expression.
