With the award-winning 8816 Summing Mixer, the legendary sound of Neve becomes available to computer-based producers. Completely hand-built and hand-wired in Burnley, England, the 8816 is a true, albeit diminutive, Neve mixer. • Hand-built16-channel summing mixer for use in professional computer-based studios The 8816 provides sixteen input channels with +15dB gain, level, pan, cut/solo and cue controls. The unit’s four monitor sources, two speaker outs, independent monitor control, talkback, cue send and headphone outs, upgrade any digital audio workstation to a true mix facility. Onboard USB connections allow saving snapshots to Mac or PC. • Instant Recall of settings on Mac or PC via USB connection • Classic Carnhill transformers in exclusive balanced design • 16 input channels plus additional Aux inputs • Cue, Level, Pan, Solo and Mute controls • Various solo and solo in place functions For its distinctive Neve sound, 8816 uses the same topology as the classic 80 Series console, with two Carnhill transformers on the stereo bus output.
