Take It Personally
workshop:
 Ida Price MS
There are 91 parents volunteering at these
schools impacting approximately 1,154
students monthly. The parents volunteer
approximately 273 hours each month at
your schools in the ABC program. This
includes training, preparation, and
classroom time.

workshop.
The ABC lead volunteers have received
support from Project Cornerstone’s staff to
implement the program and they attend
the monthly training meetings hosted by
Project Cornerstone. The training meeting
is a review of the book and lesson from the
previous month as well as preparation for
the upcoming book and lesson. The
monthly meeting is designed to be a “train
the trainer” model enabling the ABC lead to
return to the school site and train the ABC
readers for the book of the month. Each of
the parent volunteers puts approximately 3
hours per month to train, prepare, and
deliver the lesson per class.

review of the book and lesson from the previous month as
well as preparation for the upcoming book and lesson. The
monthly meeting is designed to be a “train the trainer” model
enabling the Los Dichos and ABC leads to return to the school
site and train the ABC and Los Dichos readers for the book of
the month. Each of the parent volunteers puts approximately
3 hours per month to train, prepare, and deliver the lesson
per class.

There are 25 parents volunteering in these programs impacting

The parents volunteer approximately 75 hours each month at

training, preparation, and classroom time.
The ABC lead volunteer has received support from Project
Cornerstone’s staff to implement the program and they attend
the monthly training meetings hosted by Project Cornerstone.
