We are still welcoming many new students who will be making new friends & soon to be enjoying their new journey into the dance world. Free Classes New Student Offer Does your dancer keep begging you to join more? Well you’re in luck! A2DBK is offering a free month of dance class! Any student who is currently enrolled in a class may attend a complimentary class of their choice for FREE for the entire month of October! (excluding 8 week session students) Stop by the front desk and our staff will assist you on which class to enroll in & receive your Free October Pass. If you are a NEW student who is not enrolled at All About Dance prior to this offer or have not attended our studio in the past 3 years, you can enjoy one class FREE during the month of October. It’s hard to believe but the best week of our dance lives is just around the corner once again. Recital 2016 is swinging into the planning phase, and as always, we will soon share with you this upcoming year’s theme. But until then, mark your calendars for June 17th and 18th, 2016! A $75.00 costume deposit per class will be due by November 16th Anyone not wishing to participate in our recital MUST submit a “Not In Show” letter to the office by November 2nd to avoid any costume charges. Don’t miss out, we promise it to be another AMAZING show! $90.00 per session Session II begins: Thursday– Nov. 5th from 6:45-7:45pm Session II begins: Thursday– Nov. 5th from 6:00-6:45pm A combina1on class that incorporates fun props and colorful music to enhance learning the basic skills of classroom e1que4e, crea1ve movement and basic dance & acroba1c technique. Gently ease your toddler into the classroom environment with the support of a familiar person. Join your child in crea1ve & locomo1ve movement, acroba1cs, musical awareness plus more. Don’t Forget.. ♦ Observation Week will be held October 19th-24th(no Observation for Intensive classes until December) ♦ If your child will not be participating in the recital in June, a ‘Not Participating in Recital’ note is due in the office by November 2nd, 2015. Otherwise you will be obligated to purchase costumes. ♦ All costume deposits are due by November 16th. Late charges will apply beginning Nov. 23rd. ♦ The studio is closed from Tuesday, November 24h –28th for Thanksgiving Break. All classes resume November 30th ♦ Our next observation week will be December 14th through December 19th. This year All About Dance! by Kristen continues another year long theme entitled “WHY WE DANCE”. Growing up in today’s world presents many opportunities for children. We believe it is very important to bring to light their gratitude and graciousness that guides them to dance! Every two months at AADbK, we will be focusing on two reasons why we are motivated to dance! Our two reasons for September & October for dancing would be the love of MOVEMENT and the PASSION that dance instills in us. We want to hear and see WHY all of our dancers love to dance! Use #WHYWEDANCE to share with us! Show Your True Colors For the months of September and October, we want to know what the AADbK dancers 2015-2016 dance goals are! ♦ Write goal on part of a balloon ♦ Take a picture of the dancer with it ♦ Post on our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter ♦ Use #aadbkgoals for a chance to win a prize! Don’t Forget! We want all our dancers to show us their true colors by wearing any color dance attire on the 1st7th of each month! Show us your true colors! Show Us One or More Splits! Students who achieve one or more splits will be invited to attend our annual Flexibility Fun Pizza Party on Friday, May 6th, 2016 . Each student who attains this goal will receive a personal invitation to join our staff and attend “Lyle the Crocodile” , a live musical at the Barberton Magical Theater. Afterwards, join us for a fabulous & fun pizza party hosted by AADbK! Students who achieve ALL 3 SPLITS will receive a trophy and recognized during our recital rehearsal week! It’s Back! Miss Ginniann is excited to see her students excel in her 17th season as choreographer/instructor at All About Dance! By Kristen. Miss Ginniann always loved being at the dance studio when she was growing up. She is amazed that she gets to share this feeling with her students everyday and hopes that they will feel the same about our studio as she felt about hers. She says, “I want classes to be fun so that children will want to continue to dance. I also want them to learn proper technique and, most of all, to become confident performers. Even if they do not pursue dance, I hope their time spent with me gives them confidence in life.” Miss Ginniann began her teaching career in Cumberland, Maryland nearly 26 years ago. As a member of a competition dance team, she performed with the world famous Radio City Rockettes, as well, was featured on a nationally televised show. In Freeport, Illinois, Miss Ginniann instructed dance for S&R Dance, which included competition jazz, tap and clogging teams. Miss Ginniann has been recognized by other teaching professionals/judges for her outstanding choreography and has received many Choreography Awards over the years at different competitions. Most recently, her choreography was chosen nationally for the Celebrity Create Competition in Atlanta, GA. She is currently teaching Kindercise and Kindertap classes, Beginning, Junior, Advanced Tap, Competition Tap and Competition Munchkin Jazz Teams. Miss Ginniann stays active attending various dance conventions such as Robert Christopher Professional Teacher’s Seminars, Dupree Dance Expo, Joel Hall Dance, and Stepp Stewart’s Stepp with Me Convention and Tremaine Dance . She has studied and completed Dance Master’s of America Teacher’s Training School Level II in Buffalo, New York and attended Rhee Gold’s Dance Life Conference held in Phoenix, AZ. She likes to stay involved in researching the latest dance steps from premier dance professionals throughout the United States. Miss Ginniann is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband Ed and their children, Tobin and McGee. Miss Ginniann wants to say thank you to all of her students and their parents for their continued support, as well as, for them allowing her to be a part of their lives through dance.
