This year All

by Kristen
continues another year
long theme
entitled
“WHY WE
DANCE”. Growing up in today’s world presents
many opportunities for children. We believe it is
very important to bring to light their gratitude and
graciousness that guides them to dance! Every two
months at AADbK, we will be focusing on two reasons why we are motivated to dance! Our two reasons for September & October for dancing would be
the love of MOVEMENT and the PASSION that dance
instills in us. We want to hear and see WHY all of
our dancers love to dance! Use #WHYWEDANCE to
share with us!
Show Your True Colors
For the months of September and
October, we want to know what
the AADbK dancers 2015-2016
dance goals are!
♦

♦

show us their true colors by wearing any
color dance attire on the 1st7th of each month! Show us your true colors!

Miss Ginniann is excited to see her students excel in her 17th season as choreographer/instructor at All About
Dance! By Kristen. Miss Ginniann always loved being at the dance studio when she was growing up. She is amazed
that she gets to share this feeling with her students everyday and hopes that they will feel the same about our studio
as she felt about hers. She says, “I want classes to be fun so that children will want to continue to dance. I also want
them to learn proper technique and, most of all, to become confident performers. Even if they do not pursue dance, I
hope their time spent with me gives them confidence in life.”
Miss Ginniann began her teaching career in Cumberland, Maryland nearly
26 years ago. As a member of a competition dance team, she performed with the world famous Radio City
Rockettes, as well, was featured on a nationally televised show. In Freeport, Illinois, Miss Ginniann
instructed dance for S&R Dance, which included competition jazz, tap and clogging teams. Miss Ginniann
has been recognized by other teaching professionals/judges for her outstanding choreography and has
received many Choreography Awards over the years at different competitions. Most recently, her
choreography was chosen nationally for the Celebrity Create Competition in Atlanta, GA.
She is currently teaching Kindercise and Kindertap classes, Beginning, Junior, Advanced Tap,
Competition Tap and Competition Munchkin Jazz Teams. Miss Ginniann stays active attending various
dance conventions such as Robert Christopher Professional Teacher’s Seminars, Dupree Dance Expo,
Joel Hall Dance, and Stepp Stewart’s Stepp with Me Convention and Tremaine Dance . She has studied and
completed Dance Master’s of America Teacher’s Training School Level II in Buffalo, New York and
attended Rhee Gold’s Dance Life Conference held in Phoenix, AZ. She likes to stay involved in researching the latest dance steps from
premier dance professionals throughout the United States.
Miss Ginniann is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She
lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband Ed and their children, Tobin and McGee. Miss Ginniann wants to say thank you to all of her
students and their parents for their continued support, as well as, for them allowing her to be a part of their lives through dance.
