ART NOUVEAU – INSPIRATION
After Art Nouveau success, S.T.Dupont decided to give a second life to this collection through a new decor
Art Nouveau was inspired by natural forms and structures, not only by flowers and plants but also by curved lines.
Art nouveau is characterized by the inventiveness, the presence of rhythms, colors, ornamentations, inspired by trees, flowers,
insects, animals, introducing the sensitiveness into the daily decoration.
S.T.Dupont’s creations from the origins have been influenced by this period (19th and 20th century) including Art Nouveau decors.
This particular collection is a tribute to Art Nouveau period with curves and details.
S.T.Dupont represents elegance and glamour in a natural way by creating beautiful objects rooted in the DNA of the brand.

ART DECO – INSPIRATION
After Art Deco success, S.T.Dupont decided to give a second life to this collection through a new decor
Art nouveau style was inspired by curved lines and nature, very detailed ; Art Deco turned essentially to geometrical
forms. A movement of reaction against the Art nouveau appears from the beginning of the century in France, and even
earlier abroad, a part of the population consider the Art nouveau forms as "simple" with a lack of dynamism.
In fact, curves, still very present in the beginning of this movement, tends to disappear for the benefit of right angle.
We can see Art Deco style especially in the Decorative arts, the architecture, the design, the fashion but concerned more
or less all the forms of plastic arts.
“La garçonne” is also an emblematic icon (1920’s) of this period referring to “Les années folles” after World War I.

ART NOUVEAU CHINESE LACQUERS – INSPIRATION
After the success of American Art Deco Chinese lacquer collection, S.T.Dupont decided to introduce
Art Nouveau Chinese lacquers collection.
S.T.Dupont decided to create this particular collection with two Chinese lacquers (blue & vintage brown colors)
using its rarest know-how: Chinese lacquering (with the exceptional quality of this material) and goldsmith
(with the shaping of precious and rare metals).
The Art Nouveau Lighter and Writing instruments are a tribute to the artists of this period using the exceptional
Chinese lacquers with palladium finishes.
Casa Fenoglio-Lafleur is an historical building considered has one main Liberty example of Italy.
The work of Pietro Fenoglio, the architect, here more than ever seems refreshingly unaffected by the school of
French and Belgian Art Nouveau, not only for the careful stylistic coherence but also the ambition to give the
building an international connotation
