Official Proceedings Marion County Board of Education January 19, 2016 6:00 PM The Marion County Board of Education met in regular session on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Members Present: Mr. Thomas Dragich, Steve Higgins, Mr. Richard Pellegrin, Dr. Babette Simms and Mrs. Mary Jo Thomas President, Mr. Pellegrin gave the invocation and Mr. Kim Wade led the Pledge of Allegiance. She was granted an additional semester of educational leave in error and has exhausted all educational leave available to her. Effective Immediately. The reason necessitating this suspension is failure to complete daily duties. Mr. Higgins - Thanking the board for the opportunity to serve the Board Pellegrin - Letter thanking the students and staff from Fairview Elementary for their respect during a funeral service. Thank you Mr. Norman for supporting the Marion County Bus drivers.
