HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
Celebrate the season with the Aquarobics morning swim group. Enjoy a wine, cheese and
dessert buffet. The group will meet on:
Wednesday, December 12, 2-4 pm, Queen Anne Room
Bring a White Elephant gift costing between $2 and $5 to share. Food, wine and non-alcoholic
punch will be provided. Sign up at the Residents Club, the cost is only $5 per person.
Join the Point Brittany Yacht Club Crew at the renowned St. Petersburg Yacht
Club. Feast on mouthwatering Prime Rib Au Jus or Almond Herb Crusted Salmon
with Buerre as your entrée choices. Cocktails are at 6 pm with dinner to follow.
Don’t miss this holiday event on:

Dance to the fabulous music of Ricky Mondelli. There will be spot dance prizes
throughout the evening with a grand prize drawing at 9:30 pm.

Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster. Mayor Foster discussed projects and answered questions from
residents. Look for information coming soon on MRT’s next event, the MRT Holiday Party.

Resident Elise Farnsworth has studied art at Academia Julian and as an independent artist in Paris
and Monaco. Elise will introduce you to the art of painting on:

We have had many requests from residents to have Weight Watchers meetings on site.
Weight Watchers is only too happy to oblige but, needs at least 15 residents to participate.

WINE TASTING
DID YOU KNOW?
When the Viking Leif Ericson traveled to America, the first things to catch his eye were all the
grapevines. In fact, he named the place “Vinland.”
Sample various wines and see what new brands you enjoy on:
Sunday, December 16 from 4-6 pm, Tudor Room
Bring your favorite bottle of wine priced under $8 for everyone to taste and get in free,
or pay $5 at the door. Cheese and crackers will be on hand to cleanse the palette.
Non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
The Salvation Army and Point Brittany are sponsoring the Children's Angel Tree program again this
year. The Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children whose families are having
a tough time. Residents remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase the gifts listed, then
return them unwrapped to the Residents Club office. The gifts are picked up by the Salvation Army
and distributed to the families before Christmas Day.
The Angel Tree is located in the Residents Club Coffee Room. You will be able to pick an angel from
the tree seven days a week from 7 am-11 pm. What a great way to make sure each child get a
present this year.
