The Zoo is coming back, but unfortunately this will be their last presentation. The
Men’s Roundtable and Ladies’ of Point Brittany would like to invite the community
for lunch and a presentation from Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
Let the zoo come to you on:
Thursday, January 19, Noon, RC Ballroom
Representatives from the zoo will showcase live animals and talk about their care
and history. The cost is only $10 for lunch and the presentation.
Sign-up and pay at the Residents Club. This meeting will incorporate the regular
Ladies and MRT Luncheons for January.
Seating is limited to the first 100 people.
THE RESIDENTS CLUB, POOL 1 AND SPA WILL BE CLOSED
On Saturday, January 7, 2012, Progress Energy will be replacing a transformer that provides
power to the Residents Club. The Residents Club, Pool 1 and spa will be closed. In case of
inclement weather, Progress Energy will re-schedule the work.

PACE is a land based arthritis program that targets the areas arthritis seems to effect.
Develop greater mobility in a secure well-planned setting. Both men and women are encouraged to
attend. The class will start on January 17 and run bi-weekly. Join in and feel the relief on

Look through tables of merchandise or sell those things you have been wanting to part with. There
are two table choices, a six-foot for ($3) or eight-foot for ($5,limited amount) ready for you to
reserve at the Residents Club. One person’s stuff can be another persons treasure.
Stop by the Residents Club and pick a table before they are gone.

Tai Chi is back!
Tai Chi does not require a high level of conditioning or special skill. It is gentle on stiff joints and
muscles. Tai Chi can easily be adapted for anyone from the most fit, to people confined to a
wheelchair. Gary and Natalie (certified IIQTC and Reiki Level I & II) specialize in 50+ community
programs. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. The first class will start on:
Friday, January 13, 10 am, Exercise Room.
