VISITOR PRE-REGISTRATION for FIELD DAY
Parents, guardians, and authorized visitors, you are
encouraged to pre-register as a campus visitor if you plan to
attend your child’s field day. Pre-printed nametags will be
sent home beginning November 14th. Visitors should wear
the nametag on the day of the event. This convenience is
available to any parent, guardian or authorized visitor who
has visited our campus this current school year and has
been scanned into the VSoft system. To pre-register, stop
by the reception desk and fill out a preregistration form.
Counselor’s Corner – Character Rocks
November’s Character Value: Gratitude. Gratitude is
letting others know how they have helped you. The animal
that represents gratitude is the hippopotamus. Some
aquatic birds sit on the back of the hippopotamus to catch
fish. In return, the hippopotamus lets the fish nibble on
the algae that can be found on the hippopotamus’s skin.
Hippopotamuses and fishes show gratitude for each other
by helping each other survive.
Suggested activity to do with your child: What better time to
speak to your child about gratitude than in November? If your
family celebrates Thanksgiving, make sure to speak with your
children about the meaning of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time
when we show gratitude to others.
Lee Elementary Canned Food Drive
Lee Labradors “CAN make good choices and stay
drug-free”. Lee will have a food drive until
November 14th. These items are greatly
appreciated: boxed potatoes, boxed pasta,
spaghetti noodles, canned chicken, chili, boxed

the most items gets an ice cream party! Donated

Ministries.
