Thanks to the generosity of Chucck
k Vaughn the
October Meeting was held in Chuck’s
Classroom at T.C.A.T. in Murfreesboro. John
Sanderson called the meeting to order at 2:00
and Wayne Hall provided everyone a copy of
the Treasurer’s Report. The Club is financially
healthy and should have enough capital to
finance the annual Christmas Party.
Several members were recognized for their
extra efforts in making our “Silveerr Anniversary
Show” possibly the best annual event in the
Club’s history. Not only were all of the 2014
Show T-shirts sold, participants wanted more.
People even wanted to purchase shirts from
Ron Gillespie’s display of shirts from previous
events.
Mike Wilkins mentioned that Sunday’s
“Celebration Show” had low attendance and
recommends that tth
he Sunday event probably
needs to be discontinued. Of course, the light
attendance on Sunday made it possible for a
few Club members to recuperate from their
hard work on Saturday.
Larry Crawford rests to recover
from Vendor Management shock
shock..
Mike wants Club members to bring
suggestions to the next meeting for ways to
improve our 26th Annual Show in 2015. You
can also e-mail suggestions to him if unable to
attend the meeting.
October is our “Officer Nomination” meeting
and John Sanderson retired as our Club

President after 14 years of continuous service,
setting a record not to be matched or broken
in the near future.
Stan Hardcastle feels that he can better serve
the Club in an Advisory Capacity beginning in
2015, so he relinquished his Events Director
position. He will continue to support the Club
and assist his successor.
Here are the nominations for the 2015 Music
City Mopar Club Officers:

The confirmation of these Officers will be part
of the November meeting agenda.
A few new members, including Thomas Hall,
Jack Hooper, Hugo Salido and Edward Sally
attended their first meeting. Kenneth George
returned to our ranks after being AWOL for a
few years. Welcome Home!

17” Year One Rally Wheels ~ Mounted on
car {see picture below} but never driven. I found out the hard
way that backspace will not work on Alterkation Suspension
on my 71 Challenger. These wheels will work great on B or E
cars with Chrysler Torsion Bar Suspension. Backspace is
4.25" and
nd I had to have at least 5.5” to clear the front fenders.
The rear ones fit fine. These are the complete wheel sets; 2 17x8 - 4.25 backspace and 22 17x 9 - 5” backspace; 4 acorn
style caps, cap bolts and 20 long lug nuts. I paid Year One
$1235 for these and will sell for $900. These wheels looked
great on my car and it really hurt to not be able to use them.
THIS IS A SUPER DEAL ON QUALITY WHEELS. Contact
