Read all about in "The Orange Peal" THE ORANGE PEAL The new "Governor's Newsletter" is called "The Orange Peal" Why Orange Peal? Here's what Governor Carlos Giraldo has to say. "Two years ago I chose the orange design for the Rotary year 2008-09. The orange was an obvious choice to represent District 6980 in that Orlando's history is deeply rooted in this universally known fruit. Its rich color gave a great backdrop to the Rotary wheel. The first use of the design was in creating a district pin. It was understandable to carry the design to the district publications - the district directory, the district assembly program and this monthly letter. The word "peal" started as "peel." "Orange Peel" is an existing publication and thus "peal" (tn <mm" Inll"lv and <onoroustv) made sense." GhUB ANNOUNGEM6N~S • There is 146 days left until the "Taste of Altamonte".
