What’s Happening?

The EMARC Special Olympics Soccer Team, The Rockets and the

Volunteer/ Staff Spotlight!
Staff Spotlight: Rec Assistant Jess Talbot!
Jess Talbot, a life-time resident of Reading, has been
working/volunteering with EMARC for 3 years now! When
she’s not studying and taking classes full-time at
Middlesex Community College, Jess is most likely out in the
community with one of our EMARC Social

Groups! Be sure to say hi to Jess at your next
program!
Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Tim Daly
Tim Daly, a Graduate of Salve Regina University and a
resident of Burlington, has been volunteering with EMARC

Sibs United are pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many
contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special
needs. Sibs United acknowledge that being the brother or sister of
a person with special needs is for some a good thing, others a
not-so-good thing, and for many, somewhere in between. They
reflect a belief that brothers and sisters have much to offer one
another - if they are given a chance. Sibs United are a spirited mix of
new games (designed to be unique, off-beat, and appealing to a
wide ability range), new friends and discussion activities.
EMARC offers Sibs United for ages 4-7 and 8-13, along with a teen
group for 8-12th graders (find Teen Sibs on page 6!) For the most up
to date schedule, join our Sibshop mailing list at
www.theEMARC.org. Enter your email address in the top right corner to “Sign up for our Email Newsletter.” On the next screen, click
