Ages 4-7, 8-13 and Teen Sibs!
Sibshops are pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many
contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special
needs. Sibshops acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a
person with special needs is for some a good thing, others a not-sogood thing, and for many, somewhere in between. They reflect a
belief that brothers and sisters have much to offer one another - if
they are given a chance. Sibshops are a spirited mix of new games
(designed to be unique, off-beat, and appealing to a wide ability
range), new friends and discussion activities.
Contact Paula Thompson for more information on upcoming meet
ups! 781-587-2316.
TEEN SIBS GROUP (grades 8-12)
Do you have a brother or sister with special
needs? Ever thought how great it could be to
meet someone else who “just gets it?” Ever
wondered what the future might hold for you
and your sibling? Just want a night out once
and a while? If you answered yes to these
questions, this group is for you!
We hang out, play games, eat pizza, watch movies and have guest
speakers on topics we decide together. We’ll also go on trips some
Friday or Saturday nights just for fun!
Mondays, every other week, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
