The mountain world surrounding Schladming
Approx. 300 mountain lakes and about 60 waterfalls make the beauty of our
mountain world surrounding Rohrmoos complete. Enjoy the unforgettable
panoramic view on a tour to the Styrian Kalkspitze or go on a trip to the Duisitzkar lake with the whole family.
Wild water
An adventurous hike for both children and adults await you at the Themenweg ,,Wild water’’. Alongside waterfalls and wild torrents, the 12 kilometre
long road leads you over the Alpine climb „Höll“ to Riesach lake and further
to the Preintaler hut.
Guided hikes
2 x a week a guided hike takes place starting from the hotel.
In addition to this the tourist office organises diverse guided hikes – completely free of charge with the Schladming-Dachstein summer card.

Hochwurzen Höhen trail over the Giglach lake to Ursprungalm – this wonderful hike takes you past breathtaking panoramic views, impressive mountain ridges and wonderful lakes.

Once a week Chef Annemarie bakes fresh doughnuts at the Ursprungalm. Guests of the Schwaigerhof can come and taste these doughnuts in the hotel’s own alpine lodge. There is also Styrian cheese
bread, fresh fruit, cakes and other specialties. Enjoy the afternoon
at the Alm or join a hiking day (stroller accessible), building a dam
at the mountain stream and relaxing on the Alm meadows to make

experiencing this special biking adventure.
Bike Park Plainai in Schladming
The Planai bike park awaits all downhill enthusiasts, at 1000 metres
above sea level; it is pure adrenalin and speed! This offers a change
for all bike lovers. The start is at 1,830 m and is easily reached by the
Planai cable railway. Then there are 11 different trails down into the
valley at various different levels of difficulty.
The Ennsradweg (Enns biking route)
A real treat for nature enthusiasts is the Enns biking route, which connects
the federal provinces of Salzburg, Styria and upper Austria. Impressive
mountains, romantic valleys, gushing streams, dreamy villages and historical cities guide you on your way through the unique natural backdrop between Dachstein and lower Tauern, Gesäuse and Reichraminger mountain

Castle of experience Hohenwerfen A visit to the festival city of Mozart is simply a must. Numerous excursions like
Mozarts birth house, the castle of Hohensalzburg or the Hellbrunn palace with its
unique water games count as the best examples in which to get to know the city.
The capital of Styria has a lot to offer. The diversity of museums, architecture and
design is exactly as unique as the wonderful natural setting surrounding the city of
Graz.
Hallstatt is an area in Salzkammergut and has a 7000 year history behind it. Many
sights give one the possibility to discover this world heritage area.
GroSSglockner high alpine road
The most famous alpine road leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National
Park, to the Großglockner. 48 kilometres with 36 turns will give you one very special
experience.
In the surrounding area of Spielberg there are plenty of things to do and attractions
to see - from the events at the Red Bull ring, to hiking and biking in the neighbouring areas.
The Krimmler waterfalls are considered to be one of the most famous waterfalls
in the world due to its impressive drop height of 380 m. A walking route leads you
directly past this show of nature and gives you a unique insight.
A lot of entertainment and things to do await you at the Hohenwerfen castle from
guided castle tours with weaponry displays, to a knight shop to historical falconry
with daily flight demonstrations.
The wild Mautern mountains
Regardless of whether you amble through the animal park or would casually like to
follow the bird of Prey flight show – animal lovers find themsleves once again in a
true paradise (entry is included with the summer card).

After a comfortable gondola ride up to the Hochwurzen summit, you whizz
down 7 km long Hochwurzen road on special Go Karts.
High rope garden
At the high rope climbing garden in Grödming there is climbing fun for the
whole family. This climbing park is the largest one in Austria, very close by
to the hotel. 18 various courses await you.
Zip line Stoderzinken
Let the wind whip around your ears as you zip down the zip line at a speed
of 65 km/h. At Stoderzinken in Gröbming you will find the largest „Zip line“
in Europe.

Important Information:

All prices are exclusive of the local tax of €1,50 per person per night
All rooms and dining rooms are non smoking rooms
The rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm onwards and must be vacated on departure day by 11 am (For arrivals after 7pm, please ring to let us know)
A deduction for rooms with breakfast: €10 per day/adult, €5 per day/child off the half board price (No deduction is possible on flat rates)

Room furnishings
To confirm bookings we request a deposit amounting of € 250,- per room (family
appartments € 500,-) to be transfered within 2 weeks into our Schladming Hypo
bank account (IBAN: AT43 5600 0206 5301 2900, BIC: HYSTAT2G). Place of jurisdiction is Schladming/ Austria. In the case where nothing else has been agreed upon,
the Austrian hotel regulations apply.
Payment
Friendly and light furnished rooms invite you in to dream. The rooms have
been furnished with a lot of love and the attention to detail promises you a
comfortable stay of the highest level.

Cancellation terms and conditions
In the case of a holiday being cancelled up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday, we will refund your deposit minus an administration fee of € 30,- per booking. From the 8th booking week, the deposit is forfeited to us. In cases whereby
the holiday is cancelled in the last 3 weeks prior to the start of the holiday, then
we must charge you in full minus € 18,- per person and day for catering. This also
applies for late arrivals or shortened stays.

And what if something happens in the meantime? You will receive an information brochure from our partner, European Travel Insurance, with your reservation
confirmation. We recommend that you take advantage of comprehensive trip
and holiday insurance.

Holiday at the Schwaigerhof
The Schwaigerhof hotel is situated in the middle of the „4 Berge“ ski network, which is part of the ski amadé ski area. The lift pass is valid for 760 slope kilometers, which cover all levels of difficulties. The slopes of Rohrmoos,
which are situated on our doorstep, are the entry point into an eventful
winter day. Guests can enjoy the comfort of not having to use their car and
can enjoy skiing immediately. Families can enjoy twice the comfort, next to
the childrens lift is a ski school, both of which are only a few metres away
from the Schwaigerhof. The optimal supervision of both beginners and advanced skiers is taken care of. At last time for so many things – simply doing
nothing, relaxing, being active or escaping everyday life.
Off the slopes
The ski region of Schladming- Dachstein, framed by unique mountains and
covered in a blanket of snow, awaits you to discover what it has to offer off
the slopes. Whether cross country skiing, tobogganing, ski touring – Schladming does not only offer unforgettable winter holidays for ski enthusiasts.
