WESTSIDE INNOVATIVE SCHOOL HOUSE

WISH Teacher-Leaders have created an on-going PLC and PD cycle that is sustainable and
organic for not only their continued professional growth, but also for their school-based
development as well. The TLs have are passionately committed to the philosophy and
program of their school, which is highlighted in their full-inclusion model (classroom, students),
and their on-going professional development model (school, teachers). They lead from a
partnership perspective, where all teachers are included and actively participating, be it
school administration, teaching-partners, student teachers, specialist teachers or student
support / special education teachers. The TLs’ dedication and work in leading their school
through CMAST is evident when you walk into any WISH classroom.
