MickMacks
MickMacks is the independent business name of Melbourne artist, Jarrod Elvin. For over
10 years MickMacks has been creating original artwork, stories and animations, and has
a vast body of work facilitated by a growing online presence and underground fan
following. Combining traditional hand-drawn methods of pen on paper with state of the
art digital processes, MickMacks boasts a truly unique output of art that ranges from cute
and silly cartoons to the dark, and sometimes scary, depths of human psychology. Visual
beauty lies at the heart of MickMacks’ art, however it is never merely an illustration
simply for the sake of a ‘pretty picture’, deep and substantial meaning is employed in
every production, and powerful commentaries of a social, psychological or spiritual
nature are essential to bring an authenticity and legitimacy to the art, while often
obscured by playful cartoon visual styles.

Meatbucket
MickMacks’ Meatbucket is the name for all of Jarrod’s uniquely alternative, original
concepts, storylines and characters for a young adult audience looking for something
‘outside the box’, without being clouded by pretence. To this date, a wide range of media
and showcases have been produced under the Meatbucket name, including (but not
