Day I
A two day Adhiveshan’s inauguration took place by a prayer – ‘Panati
Japun Theva …..’ by a girls’ team of Halo Medical Foundation and by
lighting the lamp at the hands of the Chief Guest – Mr. Waghmare, D.H.O of
Solapur and the dignitaries on the dais.
The formal inauguration was
followed by a brief introduction made by Dr. Shashikant Ahankari.
Background Information by Satish Kumar Singh, Deputy Director,
CHSJ, New Delhi
Background information about the MAGE project was given by Satishji.
While giving the information he said that the discussion on gender equality
with men and boys was started in Uttar Pradesh in which, the power
relations, gender based discrimination, inequality through a men’s network
called MASVAW (Men’s Action for Stopping Violence against Women).
We always believed that if the men are the part of the problem, they can be
the part of the solution too. All men were not violent, are not so. Then, why
they are silent? Keeping it in mind, the MASVAW’s work continued further
and many youths and men got associated with it and many of them are
getting associated with MASVAW.
Sensitive men would oppose the
violence taking place against women in the community. Considering this
that men are also sensitive, we started this MAGE Project in 5 blocks of 3
districts of Maharashtra, this is also called SAMAJDAR JODIDAR project.
This project would help to improve gender relations, increase men’s
participation in reproductive health of the women, decrease violence against
women, improve the knowledge, attitude and behaviour of men and boys
towards the gender equality and violence against women, increase the
number of women in decision making.
He further informed that this project is being run through five partner
organizations in Mharashtra. The purpose of this Adhiveshan is to learn
from each other’s experiences, to give energy to the Animators etc.
A need for dealing the violence with health at one place has emerged from
this project. We see that ASHA and Animators will work together in the
village to create violence free and health based atmosphere in the village to
live in.
Key Note Address By Subhash Mendahpurkar :
Subhashji addressed the key note of the project. Before that, a tribute was
given to the two men who succumbed to death while trying to stop the
violence happening against the women in Mumbai.
Subhashji called upon the participants that we are all associated with each
other through the Constitution. We have also taken the oath to be loyal to
each other through the constitution.
The constitution of India involves the principle of equality. But high court
has declared that the human rights given the constitution of India will not
apply in the family. The justification given by the High Court is that the
family system will dissolve if the constitutional rights of the people are
applied in the family. This clearly states that the right of the citizenship is
applicable to women only when they step out the house. The high court did
not taken in to consideration that the family system is based on the
discrimination. The power in the house/family is in the hands of the men.
Husbands are called dhani, malak, and wives are called karbharin which
show that the husbands are the proprietor/ owner and women are their
managers. The culture.Government does not give the right to say no. The
rulers can not accept the refusal of the powerless people. He emphasized that
until and unless the people understand the social system based on the
inequality; the society will not change and equality will not be achieved.
The men become violent when they feel insecure. Government has
withdrawn its service accountability towards the health, education, food
security of its citizens that increased insecurity in people’s mind resulting
the increase in the violence cases.
Mr. Waghmare – District Health Offcer, Sholapur.
Mr. Waghmare, in his speech, said that the project Enhancing Male
Participation for Gender Equality project is started last year which CHSJ
should have started much earlier.
He further gave the examples of the developed countries in which
discrimination against women does not happen. Women have 50 %
contribution in the development of their nations. The developed countries do
not follow the discrimination as male, female and transgender. He further
stated that we are undeveloped country because of the gender based
discrimination, inferior status to women etc.
The discrimination between boy and girl starts from the family itself. Due to
this, girls’ physical and mental growth is hampered. It affects their height
and weight, hemoglobin. Due to less amount of hemoglobin, the new born
baby’s weight is affected. Complexity happens in a women’s delivery some
times resulting in maternal or infant mortality. Today, every Anganwadi has
30 % malnourished children. Hence, there is a need to enhance the male’s
participation in reproductive and over all health of the women. Apart from
physical violence, there are psychological, economical violence.
He further criticized the people who said that women’s physical, mental
capacity to do all types of work is less. He said that the women are denied
opportunity; they do not have access to resources, privileges etc. In such
circumstances, how their capacity will increase.
Considering the women at the central point, the NRHM was started in 2006.
He called upon all the Animators to motivate the people to avail the services
from the health centers.
He also expressed the need of involving the women in decision making
which does not happen in the society. He also hoped that the good results
would come out of this project from 100 villages. He also called upon the
Animators that they have got a golden opportunity to bring the gender
equality. For bring the equality, he requested the Animators to start the
change from their family itself.
H.P. Deshmukh: During the review and planning meeting, we had decided
to have such a programme for all our Animators which would boost their
energy, help them to learn from other people/Animators of other partners.
He requested the district health officer Mr. Waghmare to discuss about this
intervention at their higher level meetings with health officers and other
departments of the government. He expressed the vote of thanks of all the
dignitaries on the dais and declared that the formal inauguration was over.
Presentation by the Animators and Partner Heads:
This was a sharing session which was moderated by Subhashji. 3 Animators
from each organization shared the changes, challenges and achievements of
their work in the field. Each participant was given maximum 7 minutes for
the sharing.
1) Rambhau Hinge – Wathar Hinge, NSM, Pune
Teachers in our village recommended my name to work in this project in
the village as Animator. I tried to overcome he drawbacks in me. Two
groups are formed in the village of unmarried youth and married men. One
of the girls in the village was teased by the boys in the bus. When this came
to our notice, our youth group members handled this incidence patiently and
requested that boy not to tease any of the girls in future too. I have opened a
saving account of my wife Pushpa in a credit society.
One of my classmates in near by Bhambavade villages was used to spend
money on addiction. I convinced him to save the Rs 2 lacks on her wife’s
name in a credit society. When I started my work in the village, people were
taunting on me. But the same people are appreciating my work in the village.
They are giving respect to me now.
2) Madhukar Jadhav, Wagajwadi, NSM, pune
I never imagined that I would get an opportunity to deliver the speech
infront of these many people and that to in another district like Solapur. I got
selected in this project as Animator. I formed two groups of married men
and unmarried youths in the village. I got the valuable information throught
he training and meetings in NSM, Pune also I got the guidance from
Sadhanatai whenever needed which motivated me to continue the work.
The key persons in the village like TMS members, president opposed my
work when I first had a meeting about this project with them. They showed
no response to this work. Now the scenario is changing. I do not have to
mobilize group members as one of the group members who has been
appointed as a chief of the group, mobilizes the group members for group
meetings. PHC was cisited with the Sarpancha, TMS president and
discussed with the health authorities. Since then, the Sarpancha and TMS
president agreed to be associated with this project in the village.
3) Vijaay Kavhe, Karandi , NSM, pune
One of the advantages I got from this project is the stage daring. I am born in
a poor family. I have 3 elder sisters and I am the last one. My parents wanted
a son. Due to my education, my sisters’ education got hampered. They could
not take the education as being a son, my parents concentrated only on my
education and not of my sisters’. It increased the work load on them; early
responsibility of the family was imposed on them.
For taking the further education, most of the time I was in the company of
the girls. This project gave a courage to raise the voice against a person who
was beating his wife.
As the age was growing, I was curious to know more about the sex and
sexuality and the only source of getting the related information was news
papers, magazines etc. But, I and my group members also got the scientific
and reliable information through the facilitators in group meetings. I also got
more and more information through the trainings on gender, sexuality and
health. Based on this information, I am answering the group members’
questions. This helped to build a group of 20 to 25 youths. Group members
are making the demands of the group meetings. Anganwadi worker and
ASHA also feel that they have got a supporter to their work in the village.
The villagers opposed to the rangoli competition of the boys/men. They
suggested to take this competition of the girls and not of the boys. Still, we
conducted this competition in which our group members took the part. A
felicitation programme of the women sarpancha, gram panchayat member
and gram sevak was conducted in which the men promised to cooperate with
them.
4) Vyankat Jadhav, Jadhav Javla, Yuva Gram, Kaij
H.P Deshmikh and Mr. Bodke appointed me as Animator. I have 3 brothers.
After attending the training, I decided in the family that all the men and
women family members will have a meal together every day. My brother
also followed this in his family. In our village, there are 4 women gram
panchayat members including one sarpancha. I had kept a meeting with the
grampanchayat members regarding this project. The male members who are
ruling the village opposed to this project.
A flag hoisting had never taken place at the hands of the women sapancha or
deputy sarpancha in our village. Me and my group members decided to have
the flag hoisting at the hands of the women sarpancha on 26th Jan 2011. The
husband of the woman sarpancha opposed this idea saying that if she hoisted
the flag wrogly? Who will take the responsibility of that? I also insisted on
our stand and took the responsibility of the future consequences if the flag
got hoisted wrongly. The cooperation and opinion from the women gram
panchayat members was also saught before taking the action on this. The
husband agreed and the flag hoisting took place at the hands of the woman
sarpancha which was the historical event.
There were no individual toilets in the village. Now gram panchayat has
made a resolution for building the individual toilets. I am regularly
discussing with AHSA about the health problems in the village. The men
react that if they have a food together with female family members, then
who would do the other work?
5) Atul Deshmukh, Malegaon, Yuva Gram, Kaij
I am grateful to those who selected me as Animator in the village. Due to
thisproject, I got to understand the concept of gender, violence etc. Before
thetraining I got, I was thinking that this project will not be successful, but
now, I feel that this project would be a successful one. A cricket competition
for the men was organized, in which the two group embers from 25 villages
were participated. I and my wife were not getting much time to discuss and
to have food together. Now we are having food together in the same plate.
I stopped one abortion followed by a sex detection test. That couple was
having 2 daughters and the third was also a girl child.
6) Ram Thorat, kumbephal, Yuva Gram, Kaij
I got married after completing B.COM and after the marriage, my education
was stopped. I educated my children by doing daily wages labour. I have a
shop in the village. The head of the organization gave me the details of this
project. Initially, I also laughed at this project. When I approached the key
persons in the village in the beginning of this project, they replied that today
also women are not behind the men and why equality is needed. Today the
women are not behaving in a good manner then what after giving them the
equal rights, opportunities and freedom?
Then, I got a 3 days’ training in Gender Based Dsicrimination, its reasons,
gender based discrimination at different stages of life, gender based
violence, types of violenceand it sreasons, reproductive health of women.
This helped me to answer the group members’ questions quite well.
Whenever I discussed these issues with the group members, they didn’t
respond well. One case of the maintenance was reconciled by us. Her
husband is also ordered to make the half of the property on her name.
7) Ravi Patil, Programme Manager, NSM, Pune
Ravi Patil said that when we started searching the Animators from the
villages, we had discussion and meetings with the key persons in the village.
After understanding the project, every body was saying no to work as
Animator. We had decided to start this project in Mulshi block where we
have worked previously. But, as per CHSJ’S crieteria we decided to work in
Bhor block. Right now, we have 60 % old Animators. It was very difficult
for us to sustain the Animators. In a training conducted by Anand, one
Animator had said that the menstruation should not happen. Today he
delivers the information about the importance of the menstruation to the
villagers.
He villagers had asked the Animator about the learning from the training, he
had said that how to sleep with women was taught to him in the training.
Now, the same Animator is giving the information about the men’s
contraceptives and the importance its convenience.
One of the difficulties we faced while implementing this project that this
project is not going to give direct benefits to the people who were always
asking for it. This year’s our purpose is stabilizing the groups, creating
identity of the groups in the village and working with the groups in the last
year. PHC staff knows our Animators which we feel is our achievement.
8) H.P Deshmukh, Executive Secretary, Yuva Gram, Kaij
When our organization got selected, this project was a challenge for us.
Then we realized the importance of this project from the point of view of the
villagers as it will make its impact on the policy formation by the
government. We then selected 25 villages and 25 Animators in Kiaj block of
Beed district.
Our first achievement is that not a single Animator is replaced. Animators
are conducting the group meetings on their own. Group members’
participation is increased by 30 per cent. Our second achievement is that the
cricket competition for the men has helped to create an environment in the
villge to discuss about the project as well as to increase the participation of
group members in project activities. One of the Animators in Jadhav Javala
took the efforts to have the flag hoisting at the hands of woman sarpancha
and he and his group members succeeded in that.
Frequent turn over of the Facilitators is our challenge. We need the mentor
immensely. We feel that without mentor, we may not be able to take this
project ahead.
Subhashji, making the conclusion of the sharing session by the Animators
and partner heads said that efforts are being taken to bring equality from the
family level itself. Many of the Animators have started searching the human
in them is a good thing.
He further called upon the Animators and participants about the impacts of
the justice given by the legal court and by the village committee. We must
understand the difference between the decisions given by the both courts.
Enmity comes in the relationship by the legal court’s decision. But it doesn’t
happen in the village’s justice giving system. The reconstruction of the
feeling of collective living is a good thing. Our efforts, interventions in the
village should bring the collective well being.
9) Pramod Kale, Gejagewadi (Akola), Astitva Trust, Sangola
Pramod shared that he was appointed by Vijay as Animator. He also
understood me the project well. I did not face any difficulty in forming the
groups as I have worked as a Sarpancha for the five years.
People and group members were always asking for their benefit through this
project. Now they have understood the importance of the information than
the monetary benefits. When I was a Sarpancha, women gram panchayat
members were never attending the gram sabhaa and monthly panchayat
meetings. But, when I got the training under this project, I realized my
mistake. In Animators’ training, women in Panchayat topic was covered. As
our party is in opposition, we have 2 women gram panchayat members
whom I motivated to be present for the panchayat meetings. One day there
was a voting in the village on the matter of where to build the anganwadi
building. Our party got the majority in that voting just because our women
gram panchayat members participated in voting. The ruling party’s women
members did not participate in that and they realized their mistake.
9) Bhausaheb Metkari, Hatid, Astitva Trust, Sangola
Before joining this project, I was of the opinion that the house hold work is
women’s responsibility. But, after attending the training, I have started
sharing the work load with my wife at home. I have involved her in the
decision making process. Initially, the villagers were taunting on me. 60 per
cent are Maratha community’s people in the village. 80 per cent people
opposed to this work in the village. Group members now at least listen to me
what I have to say in the meeting but the change is not there as expected.
I and my group members convinced a bride’s father not to take the dowry in
his son’s marriage. 30 women’s Hb test was conducted under the community
action activity. Youth group members are changing but men’s group
members are not changing.
10) Sunil Waghmare, Khande Pargaon, SPMM, Beed
Sunil said that I only have to do the most of the domestic work. Due to this I
was getting angry. Pravin, the Facilitator contacted me and he explained the
nature of the work as Animator in the village. I attended the training.
Throught he training, I got to understand the concept of gender, violence,
types of it etc. I also got to know how we can stop the violence. Then, the
two groups of the adult men and unmarried youths were formed. I faced
much difficulty in forming these two groups as they were asking for their
benefits from the groups. I somehow formed the groups of 5 members each.
Youths did not respond to my work. Men at least asked me why you are
doing this. Every month, I conducted group meetings and covered the topics
which were taught in the Animators’ training. There is a change in my
thinking that the house hold duties are not only of the women; we men can
also do that. I have decided that I will not trouble my women family
members and will never let anybody do that.
11) Parmeshwar Bankar, Shivni, SPMM, Beed
Parmeshwar said that two groups of men and unmarried youths are formed
in the village. He also shared that when he and the Facilitator conducted a
group meeting in the village on the topic – Violence, every member said that
the violence doesn’t take place in Shivni village. In our village, a woman
sarpancha has never hoisted the flag. But I and my group members have
decided to have the flag hoisting at the hands of woman sarpancha on
upcoming Republic Day and Independence Day.
In our village, there are 3 HSC girl students. But whenever one of them was
not going to school, other 2 would also never go. We and school principal
convinced the parents of those girls to send their daughters to school
regularly. Now the key persons like, Sarpancha and panchayat samiti
members are approaching me and asking about the work in the village.
12) Manikchand Dhanshetti, Boregaon, HMF, Anadur
Manikchand said that he attended the trainings conducted by Prof Vilas Bet
on violence, gender, gender based discrimination, men’s role in stopping
violence against women and in gender equality. Soon after the training is
over, I started sharing the work load at my home with my wife and mother.
But later, I came to know that there was a quarrel between them over my
behaviour. I took my wife with me for the purchasing of Diwali. One of my
friends never allowed her wife to sit in the shop; but due to my frequent
discussion about the issues covered in the training, he has now allowed her
wife to sit in the shop.
13) Shivanand Sonkamble, Sanghvi bk, HMF, Anadur
Shivanand said that he never did any social work in the village. But when he
joined HMF as Animator and attended the training of bet sir, I got
motivated. I formed 2 groups in the village. The group members said that
you always talk about the women, then what about us (men).
14) Vijayanand Aakhade, Facilitator, SPMM, Beed.
Vijayanand said that the first training of Animators was taken by
Daiwashalaji and Bindu Madhav on sexuality. When Bindu Madhav
exposed his status of gay, all Animators looked at him surprisingly. He later,
gave the two books to read which revealed the fact that being gay is natural.
All Animators are openly discussing about the sexuality. In the beginning of
group meeting on sharing of the work load, all the group members were of
the opinion that women do nothing in the home. But, after the session on
work load sharing is over, some of the group members changed their stand
and they also confessed that the women do have load of the work on them.
Most of the Animators are taking the food, water on their own at home
which they have never done before joining the project.
15) Shahaji Gadhire, President, Astitva Trust, Sangola
We had no any experience of this kind of work before this. The process of
learning and changing seems in the village. In the first six months of this
project, Animators were not used to come for the monthly meetings, but the
new relationship and interest is developed among them selves. They
themselves are contacting the other Animators for the monthly meetings.
The
sensitivity
of
the
Animators
towards
the
women’s
health, women’srights, their involvementin decision making is increased
manifolds. One of the Animators has spent 2 months with his wife in
hospital who had never gone with her to the clinic.
Violence against women in the village is not yet stopped. Instead, the extent
of the violence is increasing. We have good rapport in all 25 villages still.
Some Animators recognition is increased in the village. Due to their work,
violence against women is decreased.
Village leaders were used to taunt on the Animators, they were taking the
gender issues very lightly. Now they are listening to Animators and
Facilitators. Unmarried youth members are raising the voice against the
gender based discrimination and that is the achievement for us.
Sub centre in Gaudwadi village was never being cleaned. Due to
uncleanliness in the sub centre, villagers, especially women were not going
there for the treatment. But, now our Animator and group members’ effort,
the sub centre is become clean. Girls’ education is hampering due to the
migration of the parents from the village to their farms. They can afford
buying a bicycle for their sons, but can’t afford bicycle for their daughters.
In most of the villages, women are participating in the gram panchayat and
raising their issues.
Religious and political people are our biggest challenge in this project.
16) Dr. Shashikant Ahankari, President, HMF, Anadur.
While selecting the Animators, we taken into consider their character and
education primarily. We were much concerned whether these Animators will
be able to take this work further in the village or not. There is 10 – 15 per
cent change. There are some Animators like Manikchand and Shivanand
who would continue their work in the village when project gets over.
Animators are looking at the politics from the analytical point of view. I
have also faced opposition from my parents when I was washing the cloths
of the small children. People have now started looking at themselves.
Animators are the leaders in this project and now their political ambitions
are also increased; but they must understand what they have to represent and
lead. One of the women eloped with a boy. But the Animator Mr.
Dnyaneshwar Patil looked at this matter in a different manner. Divorce in
the village is considered to be a sin. But the Animators have changed their
attitude to look at such incidences. Courage and patience is developed in
them.
Prof. Vilas Bet, Mentor, Halo Medical Foundation
While concluding the sharing session by the Animators and Facilitators, Prof
Vilas Bet said that there was a doubt in my mind about the changes expected
in the project. But when such an experience was carried out in my college, I
realized that the men also do change. I am very glad to see that the positive
things are happening due to this project. He further added that the skills are
required for doing the social work. After the campaign, Animators gave the
speed to their work, they formed two groups. Now, Animators have become
able to make the people understand our issue.
Animators are also handling their personal issues very nicely. Initially there
was a large turn over of the Animators. This two days Adhiveshan will
energize the Animators. The people are approaching the Animators with
their issues apart from gender issues also. One of the Animators decided not
to sell the gutkha even if he has to bear the loss of Rs 20 to 20,000 per year.
He also stated that the village issues can be solved through people’s
participation.
Interview:
Participants were – Satishkumar Singh, Deputy Director of CHSJ, New
Delhi, Subhash Mendhapurkar, SUTRA, H.P. Lata Bhise-Sonawane and Dr.
Shashikant Ahankari, head of HMF, Anadur.
The interview was taken by Anand Pawar.
The purpose of the interview was to get the knowledge/information through
the discussion, to improve the relations of the participants with the
interviewees etc.
This interview revealed how the interviewees developed them selves, what
difficulties they experienced and how it was overcome by them.
The cultural programme was also conducted in which the Animators
participated spontaneously, sang social, patriotic songs. They really enjoyed
the cultural activities.
Day : II
The different competitions like Phugadi competition, Rangoli competition
and speech competition, quiz competition etc were organized for the
Animators. Near about all the Animators took the part in these competitions.
Before the competition started, the first days reflection was taken in which,
some Animators shared what they learned from the first day.
Ganesh Sonawane, from Yuva Gram, Kaij: He understood the importance
of time planning and managing from such a type of big event.
Manikchand from Boregaon, HMF, Anadur said that he liked the
background of Lata Bhise- Sonawane which is the living example of the
struggle. He further added that Lataji being a woman has emerged from the
struggle and also the support from her father. He further said that if every
man/father gives support to his daughter/s, the girls would become self
reliant.
Bhairu Dorle, Astitva Trust, Beed: Bhairu said that he got to know that the
Animators are courageous and also artistic. They are having different skill
and competency.
Rambhau Hinge, Hinge Wathar, NSM, Pune. Rambhau said that to become
successful, one must have a passion, willingness, enthusiasm and
perseverance.
Subhashji, while concluding the sharing session, said that GARBHAPAT is
a patriarchal word. He commented on one of the poems presented by the
Animator on the first day evening and said that a woman should have right
to abortion and right to be pregnant. There is no relation between the
declining sex ration and abortion. We must oppose sex selective abortion
and not just abortion. Because, most of the time we feel that the declining
sex ratio of the girls is due to the abortion. But, when a person after knowing
the sex of the child goes for the abortion, is a discrimination based abortion.
Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act has given 5 conditions in which a
woman can legally go for the abortion. He further questioned that what the
fault of the woman is who remains pregnant due to the rape. In such
circumstances, if a woman did not get the right to abortion, what her
condition would be?
Human Rights are applicable to the child when it comes out of the womb of
her/his mother. Our demand is in favour of abortion which should never be
based on discrimination. Girls’ sex ratio is declining because most of the
abortions being done are based on the discrimination.
After this session, Rangoli competition, quiz competition, phugadi
competition and snake and ladder games were taken.
Rangoli Competition.: Total 18 Animators were participated in Rangoli
competition. Mr. Ganesh Sonawane from Yuva Gram, Kaij, Deelip
Dupargude, Astitva Trust, Sangola and Sanjay Waghmare, Astitva Trust,
Sangola were selected as
the first three winners of rangoli competition by the panel of judges which
included of Mrs. Lata Bhise-Sonawane, Vijay Dhanavade and Shakti
Jamdade.
Phugadi Competition: Phugadi competition was enjoyed by almost half of
the participants.
The winner couple of the phugadi competition was Mr. Ganesh Kokate and
Nitin Bhadgale of SPMM, Beed.
Speech Competition: One Animator from each partner organization was
participated in the speech competition. The first three winners winner of the
speech competition were respectively Nasir Mullah, Manjri, Astitva Trust,
Sangola, Parmeshwar Bankar, SPMM, Beed and third award was divided
among the two contestants who had got the same marks were – Mr.
Bhausaheb Metkari from Astititva Trust, Sangola and Mr. Pamdurang Salvi,
NSM, Pune. The judges for this competition were Mr. Anand Pawar and
Mrs. Lata Bhise-Sonawane.
Quiz Competition: Near about 15 Animators were participated in the quiz
competition. The winners of the competition were Mr. Ram Thorat from
Yuva Gram, Kaij, Mr. Pramod Kale from Astitva Trust, Sangola and Mr.
Nasir Mullah from Astitva Trust. The questions were related to the project
issues like, health, men’s role in women’s reproductive health, domestic
violence, sexuality, contraceptives etc.
The rules of this competition were that the wrong answer giver was declared
out. The person, who gives the correct answer of three questions, was
declared the winner. Near about 8 Animators gave the correct answers of
three questions. The second round was played among these 8 Animators.
And in the end, the three Animators who gave the right answers were
declared the winners.
Snake-Ladder: This game was played to increase the interest of the
participants. The winners of this game were Mrs. Sindhu Jadhav, Yuva
Gram, Kaij, Pramod Kale, Astitva Trust, Sangola and Baburao Bhajnavale,
Astitva Trust, Sangola.
Session on Communication: By Dr. Deepak Deshpande
Dr. Deepak Deshpande called upon the participants about the importance of
communication in people’s life. He said that our voice, pronunciation, tones
are very important in our communication.
This programme will help the Animators in community action activities and
campaign activities in delivering the messages, designing the methods for
using the messages etc.
