Conference Hours
The conference begins with an opening reception at 5 PM
on Thursday, April 20, and ends at noon on Sunday, April 23.
Dealers’ Row remains open till 5 PM Sunday. Registration
opens at 2 PM on Thursday.
Venue
The conference takes place at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel &
Towers, located at 64 Arlington Street in the heart of the city,
a short cab ride from Boston’s Logan International Airport.
The Dealers’ Row rug fair will be located across the street in
The Castle, a respected Boston landmark.
Hotel rates

The special reduced nightly conference rate for ACOR attendees
is $149 plus tax, totalling $167.55. Reservations must be made

Full registration for the ACOR 8 conference is $375. Companion
rate, which is available only to individuals who accompany full

Conference rates
Cancellation
Full refunds will be available prior to February 15, 2006,
with partial refunds thereafter and no refunds after April 1.
Special Museum Tours
These are by reservation only, with attendance limited to 20
people each. Tours begin at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Thursday,
April 20. There is a charge of $25. Transportation is not included;
the museum is a 10-15 minute subway ride from the hotel.
Rug Structure Workshops with Val Arbab
These are offered on Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday,
April 20, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with lunch included.
There is a charge of $50 and each group is limited to 25 people.
