culture health care, nutrition, farming, marketing
and finance with an intention to serve the aqua
farmers in India. The vision at Growel is to

The Group GROWEL has unique
health care formulations manufacturing unit, a state of art and latest
technology feed manufacturing
facility with 180,000 tonnes of
floating fish feed & 120,000 tonnes
of Shrimp feed capacity. All the
facilities are ISO certified.
GROWEL is also setting up a 500 million SPF Vennamai & Monodon Hatchery.

Processing Facility
The state of the art Processing facility is being built to
European union & FDA standards, with maximum automation to enhance productivity and maintain consistent
quality and environment friendly.
The processing facility can produce 16,500 MT of IQF (2
Te/hr.) & block products per year in the first phase. The
equipment & machinery is imported from Iceland,
Denmark, Singapore & Japan.
GROWEL FEEDS
This modern processing facility covers an area of 7900
m2, with cold storage capacity of 2400 MT with highest
emphasis is on sanitation & hygiene. The entire walls &
ceiling in production area and cold storage areas are
insulated with 80 mm and 150 mm rigid fire resistant
polyurethane sandwich panels imported from Germany.
The Monile flooring used is food grade, non-slip seamless imported from Germany.
Entire water used for processing and for making ice is
treated in an R O plant and dozed with Ozone, a most
powerful broad-spectrum microbial control agent, it
eliminates virtually any chemical usage, it is environmental friendly and has full FDA approval.
A full fledged ETP (effluent treatment plant) is
designed, the biological treatment system comprises
of flocculation with coagulants followed by clarification and biological treatment processes (both
anaerobic and aerobic) to reduce pollution levels.
Comfortable staff quarters are also being built to
house about 350 people with kitchen & pantry.
