A donation was provided by the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club this month, to the The Fallbrook Sports Association. The Fallbrook Sports Association, is the governing board of the Ingold Sports Park, a non-profit organization, which has been proudly serving Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow for over 15 years. The organization was created by a group of local sports enthusiasts who wanted to create a facility for organized youth sports in our local community that could provide a variety of sports experiences for our children. Many years later the park is still operated in the spirit and principles of the original vision by a 12-person volunteer board of responsible individuals selected from the community. Donations from organizations like the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club are important to Ingold Sport Park. The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club was a founding donor in 1999. Ingold Sports Park, is maintained by generous donations from our community and fees collected from teams and participants that use the park. Ingold Sport Park does not receive any on-going revenue from government sources. This is the only sports complex in a 15 mile radius and is an integral part of our community, each week providing organized sports activities for approximately 3,500 individuals. Ingold Sport Park, serves individuals of all ages, promoting healthy lifestyles and enriching lives through facilitating sports and a variety of activities. Ingold Sport Park helps in creating a fun, family oriented atmosphere supporting a wide range of activities including: Fallbrook youth soccer leagues, Fallbrook girls soccer leagues, arena soccer and co-ed soccer, Pop Warner football, Fallbrook rugby, youth and adult baseball, senior baseball, co-ed baseball, boys arena lacrosse, special events and private parties, fund raising events, and state wide tournaments. The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club members are always happy to contribute to our local schools in Fallbrook and this one was a special delight. The FVCC appreciates all the work involved in helping educate our young. This donation will go towards the William H. Frasier Elementary School music program. William H. Frasier Elementary is dedicated in promoting and helping sustain a positive school experience for our students. They do this through enrichment programs such as music and the arts. The PTA is funding a music program for all students, kindergarten through 6th grade. William H. Frasier Elementary School hasn’t had a music program in over 5 years. The PTA has raise over $7,000 which will help cover the music program from August 2015 thru February 2016, and of course, the FVCC is happy to be a part of the music departments development.
