Winners` Games
Athletic Competitions for Childhood Cancer Survivors
Moscow - May, 30th – June, 3rd 2012
“Internal scars caused by suffering
are much deeper than traces from
injections and surgeries. These
children have already won the main
battle; they have survived. Now they
need help to return to their
childhood, to learn to enjoy their
lives, and to embrace the fact that
they were ill. Such athletic events
give these children an opportunity to
show themselves and others what
they are capable of.”
The founders of the Gift of Life Foundation
Russian actresses Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun

We should prove to ourselves and
to people around us: we can do it,
we are as capable as everyone else,
we are not different.

I took part in running. I finished in second place,

After that we had a drawing contest and I won the first
