Protection from EMF effects
emitted by office equipment and Wi-Fi
Over the last decades the scientific community has begun to study the possible harmful effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) on human beings.
The disorders are mainly in the structures of the eye (cornea and crystalline), electrically excitable tissues
(nervous system, neuromuscular and cardiac conduction) and the hematopoietic system.
Ii is necessary, in this context, to distinguish between acute health effects (or short-term) and chronic effects (or
long-term) found in persons exposed to EMF.
Acute effects may occur as a direct consequence of exposures above a certain threshold, this may occur only
in specific work situations for which national and international Bodies have precise exposure limits to ensure, with
a sufficient margin of safety, for the protection of workers from its effects.
The chronic effects may occur after a long period of latency, as a result of exposure to low levels of EMF for
prolonged periods. This is the typical situation of civilised environments, especially in civilized and industrialized
areas.This situation is spreading throughout the world hand in hand with industrialisation, computerisation and, in
a broad sense, with everything that has to do with the spread of technology (high voltage cables, equipment for
the supply of electricity, broadcasters and mobile phones, appliances, computers, home phones, cordless phones,
wireless systems…).
The interaction processes of the EMF with the biological matter are basically two:
a) there is a current induction in tissues electrically stimulated (nerves and nerve tissue, muscles), by
low frequency EMF (up to about 1MHz);
b) to cede energy resulting in a thermal rise due to a rapid oscillatory movement of the ions and water molecules developing a heating process with an EMF above 10 MHz. For an EMF with frequencies above 10
GHz, the absorption occurs exclusively on the skin, causing reddening and burns.
During the ‘80, in Norway and Sweden, the first reports of skin and face disturbances due to computer screens
and televisions became public. As a result, in some countries including the Netherlands, Associations and self-help
groups have been founded to help people who experience a disorder near a sources of an EMF.
Currently, there are no studies, universally accepted by the scientific community, proving an actual relationship
between biological disorders resulting form an exposure to EMF; however the major national and international
scientific agencies agree that, in the current state of knowledge, there might be a weak correlation between
exposure to EMF and cancer, limited to extremely low frequencies. In this sense, some studies have suggested
that exposure to low-frequency magnetic fields can increase the risk of childhood leukaemia, indicating the
magnetic field value of 0.4 uT as a threshold for the manifestation of the effect.

The National Science Institute for Environmental Health of the United States has evaluated the low-frequency magnetic fields as “possibly cancer-causing to humans” and
the World Health Organization recommends to apply, for the prevention of possible
long-term effects, the “precautionary principle”, i.e. to adopt measures of protection for the population until there is scientific certainty of the health effects caused
by EMF. In addition, it recommends that these preventive measures are simple, easily
adoptable and at low cost, and therefore can be used for new installations.
On the other hand, the very fact that there is a regulation of the European Community and Agencies for the
protection of World health which must be followed by anyone selling appliances that produce electromagnetic
waves, and that there are renowned Institutes for Research, Epidemiology and Health Authorities who continue
to study the effects of EMF on man and on the living, is an index of the real depth of this issue is.
The constant increase of electric and electronic devices has made the environment that surrounds us more and
more saturated with electromagnetic fields, especially in closed environments in which the number
of human beings is high, but also in open environments where the number and/or the power of the appliances
or the infrastructure develop an accumulation of electromagnetic waves which would have been unthinkable up
to a few years ago.

Enhancement of Dracena compacta for indoor pollution from EMF for low-frequency
and high-frequency
If the problem of the EMF effects on human being is known and growing, there are also human activities dedicated to resolve it.
However, products and solutions up to now produced are unable to produce a beneficial impact without generating undesirable side effects for the people who use it, or for other living beings to them exposed.
Vice versa, the solution proposed by EUREKA is based on principles, methods and components that avoid the
slightest side effects and has no contraindication on the living or any devices source of electromagnetic pollution.
The innovative solution proposed by EUREKA is based on NASA1 studies published in 1989 were Dr. B.C. Wolverton, Researcher of the NASA John C. Stennis Space Center (Mississippi) argues that the study ”Interior landscape plants for indoor air pollution abatement” carried out with his
team showed that normal house plants can remove
some pollutants from indoor environments and
provisionally concluded saying “We feel that future results will
provide an even stronger argument that common indoor landscaping plants can be a very effective part of a system used to provide pollution free homes and work places”.
Starting from these assumptions, EUREKA conducted a research with the aim to highlight a possible the decontamination
action using interior landscape apartment plants for the effects
of electromagnetic fields (EMF) normally present in indoor
environments. A NASA source shows that the more suitable
plants able to neutralize the effects of a sick building syndrome2
are the Dracaena, the Spatifillum, the Chrysanthemum, the Ivy,
and the Gerbera. EUREKA chose the Dracaena compacta

More effective plants in the absorption of pollutants more common in apartments and
offices, or formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide are:

In particular, we have the following capabilities:

Studies and tests carried out by Eureka show the potential to improve environment quality of the Dracaena
Compacta. The pianTina solution has been adopted improving its natural ability to reduce the effects of pollutants on humans and living beings (NASA studies) and as proven by EUREKA it reduces electromagnetic fields
present in the environment.
This result has been optained by enhancing expandend clay granules.. The granules are impregnated with a
particular natural product and placed at the root system of each individual Dracaena.The result of this association
is a significant increase in the ability of the plant to reduce the effects of EMF on man
and on living beings in indoor environments. The appliances functional abilities are not influenced by
pianTina. The granules are quality tested and only perfectly treated ones are placed under the root system.
Where to use pianTina: designed to protect the living in indoor environments such as offices,
homes, bedrooms, etc. piantTina comes in pots of 10 cm in diameter and, despite its small size, its protective
action has a radius of 2.5 meters.
EVIDENCE OF pianTina’s EFFECTIVENESS
The synergic action of the granules and the Dracaena plant undergoes following tests on persons and cereal:
1. Using GDV standard instrumentation (Gas Discharge Visualization);
2. Kamut cereal germination and growing tests
3. Dowsing test
4. Kinesiology test
5. Particularly on electro-sensitive subjects

1. Test on persons performed using the GDV standard method (Gas Discharge Visualization) during exposure to EMF with
and without pianTina.
In order to evaluate the capacity of pianTina to reduce the effects of EMF on humans, experimental tests have
been carried out using the GDV3 instrumentation.
The GDV instrumentation is able to read the energetic field of each tested subject while indoors in an ambiance
polluted by EMF emitted by electric or electronic devices commonly used in homes and offices.
During the test the evaluation of the subjects energetic field has been carried out with and without pianTina placed at a short distance from the subject.
The acquired data permitted us to underline and evaluate the energetic state of the subject during the diverse
test conditions.

The variation of the “crown” (blue crown) entity has been evaluated on a subject remaining for a certain time
(about 15 min.) in an 40m2 office with active electric and electronic appliances (in particular: 2 work stations
with PC, 1 laser printer, 1 Wireless system, 1 cordless phone calling, 1 photocopier) in the presence of pianTina and without it, pianTina was placed 50 cm. away from the person.
(3) GDV (Gas Discharging Visualization), method that uses EPI (Electro Photoic Imaging) visualizing the human energetic field. This method is recognized
by the Russian Health Authority and is presently in use also in Belarus as a non-invasive diagnose instrumentation obtaining an immediate result.

Processing the results (for each test condition) provided a model of the energetic field of all subjects
tested, represented by the “crown” which is the blue field that envelopes the human silhouette (see image of
test Tables). Each “crown” zone, on the bases of the software dedicated to its processing, corresponds uniquely
with an organ or an apparatus of the human organism.
The “crown” was evaluated observing its extension and its distribution. The “minus” zones show an evident condition of weakness in the corresponding zones of the energetic field. The “plus” zones are evident zones under
stress in correspondence to the energetic field. Any missing energetic field of the subjects underline an important
week zone in the corresponding energetic field.
An evaluation scale has been adopted to assess the qualitative comparison of the magnitude, extension and distribution of the “crown”. Scale shown in Table 1.

Results
After an exposure of 15 min. in an ambiance with EMF emitted by electric or electronic office appliances all
subjects tested with the GDV (Gas Discharge Visualization) showed zones with significant gaps where the energetic field value is particularly low (figure 1A, figure 2A, figure 3A).
In the presence of pianTina, at a distance of 50cm from the subject, during a further 15min. exposure to EMF
(same conditions) all cases showed an extension and a major homogeneity of the energetic field at the “crown”
level previously characterized by a gap (figure 1B, figure 2B, figure 3B).
Conclusions
The findings suggest that, in the absence of pianTina, the EMF in an environment with electrical and/or electronic devices in use, affect the human energetic field and organs adversely (“crown” area characterized by obvious
gap), this can lead to interference with the vital functions or the neuro-psychic functions of the subject.

When pianTina is placed in the same environment at a distance of 50cm from the subject the results show
that the EMF emitted by the office appliances interfere much less with the energetic field of the subject and
its organs. The “crown” area previously showing large gaps now indicate an increase and a more homogeneous
distribution of the energetic field.
This indicates that the pianTina solution is efficient and protects the living from the EMF effects.

2. BEHAVIORAL EVIDENCE OF GERMINATION AND GROWTH OF

have been placed 50 and 100 cm from the electromagnetic polluting source (computer, monitor, printer, office

Note how the “vital capacity” of Kamut seeds is inhibited by the EMF at a distance of 50cm (-14,80 %) the percentage is directly related to the germination and growing capacity of the seeds. Placing a simple Dracaena plant,
without the treated clay granule, next to the source of pollution already improves this situation (-4,15%) limiting
the inhibitor effects on the seedlings.
When using pianTina with the treated clay granule not only is the inhibitor effect cancelled but the beneficial
effect increases its vital growth capacity to +7.20 % (compared to -14.8% when exposed to an
EMF source with no protection whatsoever).

Conclusions:
The results of this experimental test suggest that it is possible to protect the living plant organism from the negative effects of the indoor EMF pollution by placing Dracaena compacta plants in the vicinity of an EMF source.
The protection extends to a distance of 50cm from the maximum pollutant source. The protective capacity of
this plant is especially increased when enhanced as in the case of pianTina.
3-4. KINESIOLOGY AND DOWSER TESTS ON PERSONS EXPOSED
TO EMF WITH AND WITHOUT pianTina
Some kinesiology4 and dowsing tests have been carried out by trained and authorized practitioners on people
with an average electro-sensitivity as well as non electro-sensitive subjects, in order to evaluate the efficiency of
the enhanced Dracaena “pianTina” in situations of high exposure to electromagnetic fields and Wi-Fi.
The subjects (adult men and women) were exposed to EMF emitted by equipment present in a standard office,
namely: a Wi-Fi network, two cordless telephones, a fax, five printers, photocopier and four computers, with the
addition of a working mobile phone in hand, all appliances switched on.
Conclusions:
In all evaluated cases we can see the same results, i.e. the protective action of pianTina on people tested
which have been exposed to EMF effects in a standard office protects the living.
The beneficial effect of pianTina is maximum at a distance of 50cm from the plant, these values are maintained up to a distance of 2,5mt. from pianTina.
(4) Kinesiology is a muscular test. It evaluates the balanced capacity of the nervous system to control the muscle through a resistance or non-resistance
of the muscle. The muscular response is related to the item tested. This gives an immediate information of the stress level specific to the tested item which can be
structural, biochemical, emotional or energetic. Presently not recognized by conventional medicine.
Dowsing is a practice which tries to locate hidden objects, or unknown information using an inert instrument as a catalyst, a particular rod, a pendulum the movements
are interpreted. Presently not recognized by conventional medicine.

5. TESTIMONIAL OF A PERSON PARTICULARLY ELECTRO-SENSITIVE
DURING EXPOSURE TO EMF WITH AND WITHOUT pianTina
Tests have been made with a person extremely sensitive5 to EMF exposure evaluating the effects using pianTina when in presence of:
a) Close to a 100 watt transformer;
b) Close to a 2000 electric oven.
Conlusions:
The detailed description given by the electro-sensitive subject close to a) + b) with or without pianTina suggests that the pianTina solution has beneficial effects also on persons particularly sensitive
to EMF.
It has been noted that on subjects who are particularly sensitive to EMF the shielding capacity of pianTina
(with a standard 10 cm pot) drops to 1.5 meters, maximum distance where and electro-sensitive subject
benefits.
FINAL RESULTS
All testing methods gave similar results indicating that the enhanced Dracaena compacta, EUREKA’s pianTina, effectively intervenes to protect the living from the EMF
effects without interfering with the appliances (PC, Wi-Fi, phones, ovens etc.).
(5) the expression “particularly electro-sensitive subject” is intended for people who experience symptoms which are normally well tolerated.This condition is presently
not recognized by the world health organization as the symptoms are greatly variable and difficult to prove scientifically. Many Organization for Electro-sensitive
subjects are battling to have this problem officially recognized. Sweden has already recognized this problem as a functional disability. This symptom is also tied to
the problem of people particularly sensitive to chemical pollutants.
