Quality Components
Structure
Our structures feature high strength,
galvanized steel construction to ensure strength and long life. The entire
structure is designed in accordance
with the UBC (Uniform Building Code)
and is rated for 10 Lb. Snow load
and 70 mph Wind load. If required by your local building department we will provide you with a certified structural drawing stamped by an engineer licensed in your
state.
Covering
The covering for the Garden Grower Hobby Greenhouse
is 6mm Lexan twin-wall polycarbonate from General Electric. Attachment is simple and positive utilizing extruded
aluminum glazing components the same as we use on
our commercial greenhouse structures. Should you ever
need to replace a panel simply remove the glazing cap,
put in the new panel and
replace cap.
Lexan Twin Wall Polycarbonate is guaranteed for 10
years against discoloration and is resistant to hail and
wind damage.
Easy Construction
The Garden Grower Hobby Greenhouse assembles easily on your foundation. It is designed to mount to either a simple footing or
a complete concrete slab if desired.
A detailed erection manual with drawings is
included with every greenhouse. The easy to
follow step by step instructions provide guidance for the do it yourselfer. No special tools
are required for assembly.
We also provide a complete electrical wiring schematic detailing the power and
control requirements for the heating, cooling and lighting systems.
