Quickstart Installation Checklist

Inputs
1. Convey—Signal from convey system to sequence valve. The
presence of this signal initiates the filter cleaning and convey
sequence.

Control power switch must be on for unit to operate.
Unit Operation
(Refer to main manual for complete operating instructions).
Upon reception of the convey signal at input 1, the filter cleaning sequence begins:
1. Atmospheric valves A & B alternate for the specified time and number of cycles, after which both are
energized for the remainder of the convey cycle (i.e. until loss of convey signal at
input 1).
2. When convey stops, the flapper (or slide gate) will open for material to be discharged from the hopper (or
the specified amount time) or until a new convey signal is received, whichever comes first.
3. For systems where the slide gate is controlled by the blender system, a relay is provided for the purpose
of interrupting the demand signal while the slide gate is open.
Procedure for changing parameters:
1. Use the left and/or right arrow keys to navigate to the correct screen. Press the OK key; one of the
numeric values on the screen will begin blinking.
2. Use the up/down arrow keys to select the value you wish to change. Use the + (plus) key to increase
values; use the – (minus) key to decrease values. The longer the keys are held, the more the values
change.
3. Press the OK key to accept the new value, or press the ESC key at any time to cancel the change. The
change will not take effect until the OK key is pressed (you will see Writing on the display momentarily).
All numeric values may be changed.

Main Screen.
Set parameters for the control, as follows:
A TIME

Time (seconds) atmospheric valve A is on during cleaning cycle.
Time (seconds) atmospheric valve B is on during cleaning cycle.
Number of cleaning cycles.
Time to keep slide gate open after convey.
Use the left & right arrow keys to switch from the main screen to the I/O screen and back.
Adjusting Cycle Times, # of Cycles, and Gate Time:
1. From the Main Screen, press “OK”. This should cause the value
of “A TIME” to flash.
2. Press + or – to change the time (increases or decreases by 0.1
second increments).
3. Press “OK” to save the update (Screen will display “WRITING
during the update).
4. Press ↑ or ↓ to switch to another parameter.
5. Press + or – to change the value.
6. Press “OK” to save the update (Screen will display “WRITING
during the update).
Adjusting the amount of “Loads Before Clean”:
1. From the Main Screen, press the → arrow once, switching to the
screen with “LOADS BEFORE CLEAN”. The default value is
shown as “1”.
2. Press the “OK” button. This causes the value to flash.
3. Press + or – to change the value.
4. Press “OK” to save the update (Screen will display “WRITING
during the update).
