YUKIKO NAGAI will exhibit new mosaic works selected Rossana Orlandi at Museo
Bagatti Valsecchi during the upcoming Milan Design Week. She will put new “seats”
series for the exhibition. Her concept consists in the interpretation of various
materials using exclusively marble and rocks, trying to surprise at the touch and look
of the surface rendered in the work. The series of “seats” fully represent her concept,
the spectator is astonished by the contrast between the smooth “soft-like” look of
volumes and textures in opposition to the hardness of the surface.
