Volunteer Report Page 2 ZACH’S PLACE Ryan Fulton headed up a project to disassemble a shed that was donated to Zach’s Place. The shed will be used to store bicycles and other outside toys that need protection from our Colorado weather. Joyce Morgan’s granddaughter’s Girl Scout troop decided that as part of their cookie sales they would ask people to donate money for cookies to give to a nonprofit . The Girl Scouts chose to donate the cookies to Zach’s Place. It was such a wonderful gesture! After the cookies were donated, the Girl Scout’s spent time playing soccer with the volunteers who were attending Fun Night and our youth. Some of the children who are in the process of getting confirmed at St. Paul’s Catholic Church volunteered at Zach’s Place. Volunteering is part of the process before confirmation. Zach’s Place also had the pleasure of having Estrellas Latinas De San Gabriel! The Spanish Dancers who attend St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church spend most of their Saturday’s traveling around performing for different organizations. It was a fun-filled Saturday at Zach’s Place and the kiddos really enjoyed their day!
