All Katech camshafts are tested on our valvetrain test cell for system stability prior to validating engine

PISTONS
Katech has designed and manufactured top quality forgings and finished pistons for racing and performance
applications for over 6 years. Our experienced personnel tailor each piston for the application to ensure optimum
performance. Our LS7 pistons incorporate hard-coat anodizing, gas porting, accumulator grooves and are up to 50
grams lighter than stock. We use both 2618 and 4032 forgings to cover racing or street applications. All our
pistons go through the same demanding validation and quality processes as our race winning pistons.

These industry exclusive light weight hollow stem valves weigh only 83 grams and are the closest thing to
running titanium valves for a fraction of the price. Manufactured using demanding tolerances, it weighs only
10 grams more than a standard 2.00” hollow stem valve and 30 grams less than similar sized solid stainless
valves. In testing compared to a standard 2.080” Stainless Steel valve, our hollow valve allowed the
valvetrain to rev 1000 RPM higher before any signs of instability occurred.

Katech’s Cell 1 Valvetrain Test System is always working on valvetrain
stability and durability for racing and street performance packages. Beehive
springs are consistently more stable because of reduced natural frequencies
and lower mass at the top of the spring. This spring is the best all around
because it is stable, controls valves on the most radical cams, and allows more
lift than almost any available.

Katech made the first publicly available LS belt tensioner in 1999. Updated for 2006 to be lighter and fit all Gen3 &
4 applications including truck. Now includes pulley, completely assembled and ready to install. Limited edition red
