1 – Zumo 550 SunVisor
1 – 2 inch strip of Dual Lock fastener
1 – 2 ½ inch strip of Dual Lock fastener
1 – Alcohol swab
(Please read entire Installation document before proceeding)
Clean with Alcohol swab:
Position and adhere 2 and 2 ½ in. Dual Lock as shown:
Clean rubber sides on back of GPS with alcohol swab provided. Remove white backing from 2 inch Dual Lock strip. Position ¼
inch from inside edge and bottom of rubber. The MCX antenna jack will be partially covered leaving room to connect remote
antenna if needed. With pressure, rub the Dual Lock Into the rubber edge with palm of hand to create a tight bond. Repeat with
pressure aligning and bonding the 2 ½ inch Dual Lock fastener to the right side. Full adhesion will take 24 hours.
Place Zumo GPS in cradle:
Zumo with Touratech lock mount:
Position SunVisor behind GPS:
Place the Zumo GPS into the Garmin power - audio cradle. The Zumo cradle will be bolted directly to our “Adjustable Tilt Mount”,
or if you also have the popular Touratech locking mount the set will be: Adjustable Tilt Mount, Touratech mount, Garmin poweraudio cradle. Fit the Zumo 550 SunVisor around the back of the Zumo GPS by spreading the sides outward enough to fit in place.
Starting at one side pull down and in to make a tight fit to GPS. Snap the opposing Dual Lock fasteners together. Repeat as you
push top of SunVisor down onto top of GPS and push SunVisor tight to GPS side. Snap opposing Dual Lock fasteners together.

SunVisor should fit tightly to Zumo 550:
SunVisor should fit tight to GPS as you can see in these pictures. If the fit is loose you can simply pull the opposing Dual Lock
fasteners apart. Start again with one side pushing SunVisor tightly against the GPS. Snap the opposing Dual Lock fasteners
together. Push the top and opposite side firmly against the GPS unit. Snap the opposing Dual Lock fasteners together.
You will find the Zumo SunVisor works well in shading the sun from the screen when placed properly onto the GPS and by
adjusting the BMR Tilt mounts pitch to optimize sun shade.
