Inspectors and operators comply with vision testing per NASA Standard 8739.3 and J-STD-001.
Facilities
All space-flight products are produced in a separate manufacturing room that is
specially designed for the rigorous MIL-STD-981 requirements.
This room is humidity controlled to comply with the soldering and materials
storage requirements of MIL-STD-981. Beta also has life test, thermal shock,
Fein Focus inspection, and automated test equipment to ensure quality.
Beta is able to provide 100% variables data and material traceability.

Data Bus Transformers for space applications
HLP-6000 Series
The HLP-6000 Series are hermetically sealed, low-profile 0.175 inch max height transformers. They are available in 3.3,
5, 12, & 15 volt ratios. The transformers are for use with MIL-STD-1553A/B, MacAir A-5690, A-5232, A-3818, and A-4905.
Testing to MIL-PRF-21038 requirements is available. The series is also designed to meet ESD test, MIL-STD-883, Method
3015.3 Category B. See data sheet for complete details.

ICS Series
Beta Transformer Technology Corporation provides MIL-STD-1553 In-Line Couplers for Space Flight Applications.
These In-Line couplers are designed to meet MIL-STD-981 requirements and can be customized to meet unique
customer specifications.
All materials are fully traceable and soldering to NASA 8739.3 is provided. Beta’s Transformer Technology Corporation
is AS9100, Rev. C and ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturing plant offers high quality magnetics design and
