Navigating Your Admin Features
To Access the Administrative Features of the SiteOnce you have set up your password, go to this link – www.kodiaksportsmanslodge.com/admin
Enter your email and password
Changing Page Content (text)-

Click on Site Manager in the left column.
Click Pages.
Choose Tree View at the top (for easier viewing).
Click the page you would like to modify from the list.
Once on Page Details, scroll down to Page Content area.
Modify text just as you would in a Microsoft Word document.
Once finished, click Update button at the bottom to save changes.
Image Dimensions for the Website

As a general guideline, images for pages that are horizontally oriented (wider than long or
square) are 400 pixels in width if there is a lot of text around them and 300 pixels if there
isn’t much text to accompany an image on a page. If the image is vertical, 300 px width if
there is enough text, and 220 px width if not much text.



Home page banner images are 1400 px width x 400 px height.
For images in any of the image galleries, the largest dimension should be no bigger than 900
pixels. Otherwise user may have to scroll to see the whole image.
Blog post images are 950x450 pixels (they automatically shrink down for the home page
feed).
Changing Home Page Banners





Go to Site Manager->Page Templates->”Home” template. Click on Image Manager Icon to add
new banners.
Place your cursor in the correct area to add a new slider or click on a current slider image to
replace it (slider will turn blue when highlighted).
Click on IMG folder, then SLIDERS folder.
Once there, click Upload Files button at the top. Next, Select the image from your computer and
click Upload.



Then select your new image from the list below and click the insert button at the bottom.
Click Update at the bottom of the page when finished.
Adding Images to a Page
Follow the same process as above (see screenshot), but go to the page where you want to add/switch
out an image. Under Page Content, first put your cursor where you would like the image to be inserted.
Next, click Image Manager (picture icon), upload your new image(s), select your image from the list, and
click the Insert button to add it to the page.
Adding a New Page
Go to Site Manager->Pages->Add Page button at the top. For most pages, you will select the template
“Inner Special Events” and fill out the page content/add the image. Click the Publish button at the
bottom when done. *Be sure to add the page to the menu by going to Site Manager->Menus->Main
Menu and add the page there.
Adding Images to an Image Gallery
Go to Site Manager->File Manager->Images->Gallery and you will see all of the galleries. Click on the
gallery where you would like to add the image and add just as you would for a home page slider or page
image. Images should be no larger than 900 pixels at their greatest dimension (width or height).
Creating a New Blog Post

Click on Modules in the left navigation.
Click on Blogs.
Click New Post.
Add Post Name (title of your blog post) and type in or copy/paste your blog post content
into the post content area.
5. Click relevant tags in the sidebar or add new ones.
6. Select the appropriate author.
7. Click Publish at the bottom when finished.
Add an Image to Your Blog Post
Note: Blog image dimensions should be 960x450 px.
1. Go to toolbar and choose Image Manager.
2. From Image Manager, you will probably start in the “Root” folder. From there, click on the
folder icon labeled “Image”, then click on the folder named “Blog.” This is where your blog
images are stored.
3. Once in the Blog folder, click Upload Files button.
4. Click Select button to search for the image on your desktop. Then choose your image(s). Once
you are done, click Upload button. (See screenshot below for details.)

6. Next, navigate to the image list below.
7. Locate your image and click on it to select it.
8. Click Insert button.
9. Click “Update” or “Publish” at the bottom of the page to save your work.
Changing the Menu Items in the Main Navigation
To update, disable, or add a navigation item to the main navigation, go to Site Manager->Menus->Click
on MAIN Menu option.
