Session One: This session will focus on raising the
awareness of Restorative Care for all care settings –
including LTC, Community, Home Care, Adult Day
Program…., We will learn what Restorative Care is, I
what care settings does it work, and is it a philosophy of
care/program or both. Learn about restorative care
and become aware of the possibilities and potential for
implementation and how we can work together to
provide engaged and enabling care for older adults.
Session Two: this session will focus on the “How to”.
Now that we have a better understanding of the
potential of Restorative Care – let’s put it to work to
ensure that we are offering engaging and outcome
based programs that support the philosophy of
Restorative care within all care settings in the province.
