This two-day training is being offered by Neighbor-to-Neighbor Mediation of Benton, Linn, and Marion Counties,
Oregon.
The training is intended for volunteer mediators who have completed Basic Mediation Training. Professionals in justice,
social work, and school agencies that might refer cases are encouraged to attend.

Ted Lewis is a trainer, teacher, writer and consultant in restorative justice, and works for the
Center of Restorative Justice and Peacemaking (University of Minnesota).Advancing the field of
restorative justice and conflict resolution for 20 years, Ted is formerly the executive director for
Barron County Restorative Justice Programs in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. From 2000 to 2009, he was the
Restorative Justice Manager at Community Mediation Services in Eugene, where he also promoted
the development of dispute resolution programs. From 1996 to 2000 Ted was the first office manager
for the VORP (Victim Offender Reconciliation Program) of Central Kansas. Throughout these years he
has led trainings in restorative justice and victim/offender mediation. Since 2004 Ted also has done facilitation work for
church groups and led workshops on conflict transformation and communication skills.
